how much space is there under the bed height wise?

is there oceanside view on higher floors in the north tower or sourh tower? which tower do you recommend
the ocean side of both tower have views of the ocean however south tower ocean side I would recommend for a better view.

how are the physics, calculus, and orgo classes? I committed to UCSB for bios-psych as a transfer for the fall 2024 quarter. I did great in chem/bio/stats/research methods so far but scared of the difficulty at UCSB. (ps: i only took algebra in hs but was able to get A's in CC).
I also am biopsych, welcome to UCSB! I think organic chem is the most rigorous of those courses you mentioned. UCSB has a lot of resources to help and good grades in all are absolutely attainable with discipline and extreme effort.
Hi Ella! I was accepted as 2024 freshman in UCSB as a pre-bio major. Can you recommend a residence hall closer to the science building and which dining hall is better? I heard that manza is very nice but it's too far from bio building.
Hi! Yes, I would recommend any of the Chi 5 Dorms which includes Anacapa, Santa Cruz, San Miguel, San Nic, and Santa Rosa. Those are as close as you can get to stem buildings and the library, hope this helps!

There is no pre-med major in college, more that you declare a specific "track/path" and complete the required courses. But yes UCSB has great pre-health paths and resources. And yes, you can start it in your first year.

Hello, can you tell me, how can I apply for a dorm and how much is it? Also, I want to know about the meal. TIA
Once you receive housing contract, you may apply. The dates for the application are on the ucsb housing website. You may also choose what size meal plan you want then, options: 5, 10, 14, and 19 or 21 meals a week I believe. Stay tuned for an in depth financials and costs video!
are you allowed to have stuff on the walls? i read that yall can’t have anything on the walls at ucsb
Yes! you are allowed things on the wall however no holes can be made. Command strips work well, be careful when removing tho as they can take off the paint!

Dorms are added to the tuition fees at UCSB, you can see more information on the financial aid page and cost of tuition on UCSBs website!

Can you lock the bathroom from your dorm room side, or do suite mates have access to your room through the bathroom?
the bathroom doors only lock from the inside so technically you can't lock your suite-mates out of your room.
How did you lift your bed?

I unfortunately don't have a tour of a triple on my page yet, however there is a quick snip of one in my moving out vlog. hopefully I can show one in more depth soon!
hey moving in this fall but i’m conflicted if we can bring a coffee maker we’re they okay with you taking yours?
I brought my coffee maker as did a lot of people. However they don't allow most kitchen accessories, but there are no dorm checks and I never had any issues with having mine there.

No bc when you mentioned the weather istg I’m going up there this Saturday for the STEP program and one of the mentors was all like it’s gonna be in the 90’s 😭
hey i’m going to be i santa catalina too! do you know if triples come with mini fridges or do you have to bring your own????
the dorms do not come with mini fridges, you have the options of buying your own or renting one from the school. you can also rent one with your roommates if you'd like. hope that helps!

@@MikyahLust-c9v No this video was recorded at the end of last quarter, Move-in for the dorms are sept. 23-24 this year as school wont begin until the 28th. however the earliest move-in date to my knowledge is the 21st. I will likely be posting another move in vlog in the upcoming months so stayed tuned!
