Follow me as we take a Sunday drive around the area and through some beautiful places. In a previous video, we some some of the local Autobahn and a small corner of the city of Heidelberg. Today we will see some of the same area along with taking a drive along the Neckar river through Heidelberg as well as through some historic villages along the way.

This reminds me of my over 500 Volksmarches in Germany from 1976-1984. I had 3 tours in Germany with the US Army. Germany is a great and beautiful country. ❤

German autobahn are even more horrible in terms of scenery They can never match USA in terms of scenery
In road quality index ranking by country, USA ranks 17 while Germany ranks 20 Germany ranks behind USA and I understand the reason why These German roads are terrible

0:50 to 2:00 roads are full of cracks and potholes I expected more from Germany US roads are far far better, both roads wise and scenery wise
in cities its not allowed to drive unlimited speed so its no problem
US Pacific coast highway is far better than the Autobahn Autobahn roads are mediocre quality at best and some of them are terrible

Yeah, thats one thing vs the states is the autobahn roads are usually amazing. It can be hit and miss in the towns and cities but the autobahn is smooth. Wouldnt be too safe to drive 150mph on a bumpy pothole filled road.

We have a saying that no master has fallen from heaven. You are in the learning process, the small mistake you mentioned will definitely not be made in your next video. It takes time to master your craft. When you are at Schwetzingen castle, you have the Option for a guided Tour inside the castle, but it will cost some aditional bucks, you "must" think/consider about that Option

Cool stuff! Curious where all the people were? It really made for nice conditions to shoot the town though. Too many folks would have been distracting. It also made it feel like being in a first person video game, I was waiting for an undead monster or enemy soldier to jump out to attack. Nicely done.
