Teller is a genuine master of stage magic. Not disrespecting Penn. Doing it with being mute as a handicap brings it to a whole different level.

Until the end, I was absolutely sure that the producers and Alyson had tipped off Hardwick, and that after the audience-member randomly chose the Queen (of whatever, on my monitor I can't even really tell its color for sure but I think it's more like black than red), Chris Hardwick would also randomly choose that Queen. Or maybe, since this is not a fool-attempt by Hardwick so isn't subject to the rules of the game, the audience-member could be in on it and use a move to be sure that the card he picked was that Queen, a move that Hardwick would also use. Then when the card chosen by "random" by Hardwick turned out to ACTUALLY match the audience-member's card, Penn & Teller would be having kittens. "Well, Teller, one out of 52 times, this will happen" or something like that.

@3:46 you see a black piece of felt or something - the magician is careful to butt the tray up against this. this is important because there is a trap door on top of the table. there is thick wood around the bottom of the table top to conceal a hidden mechanism of some type. from 3:52 to 3:53 this is an edit. frame by frame, look at his left arm is in 3:52 and cut to 3:53 his arm is down and about to pick up the tray. 3:46 pause and look inside the fish tank - there is a horizontal line inside up towards the top. also the big floor spotlight is not there for a prop - its there to illuminate the inside of the tank. 3:54 go frame by frame and you see the smoke starts before he "touches" the fog machine. 3:57 the smoke is a misdirection -- look at his right hand and how he picks up the tray. his right hand is trying to grab hold of the glass. he takes a couple seconds to properly grip it. the glass is underneath the tray. look where his right hand is - now look at the opposite end of the tray that faces the camera - you see something silver that is now attached to the bottom of the tray. 3:59 pause and look. as he lifts up the tray its obvious to me he is also holding the glass. he has to start the fog first so when he lowers the tray inside you will not see the glass photo go inside. 4:43 the floor spotlight illuminates the inside of the tank. this is a transparency. watch at 4:56 ( slow the speed down) you see the photo suddenly get faint - this is the light shutting off and revealing the glass the magician slid in there with the tray.

The images look identical, I made screenshots and compared them. My best guess is that the pens electronically register the movements. A technical device is in the tray and colors a glass plate hidden in the tray.

the pen is not an ordinary pen. Its a digital stylus recording oen movement a machine redraw the picture

There is a cut-off switch on the nail gun.

It was just a simple force. He admitted he did a fake shuffle, and known for being able to count cards by weight. So by just splitting the deck he admitted to forcing into 4 equal piles and handing them out and then staking them on top of each other in order he knows already exactly what cards are in half. Then he just spilts it and fires off the cards he had as much time as he wanted to memorize (not 10 seconds) and does it fast so you don;t have time to put it altogether. Still impressive though

Has to be a second piece of glass on the table that he picks up after he sets the tray down and picks up the tray again. The second piece of glass is a a close replcia of the one he smashes

Well it stood out that when Teller hammered the bottle he opened his hand. And just before that, after lowering the bottle, his hand reached into his pocket. But when did he ever have time to write it? He's off camera while time is bought with the generate-name bit, but sure seems like Teller doesn't move during that. Is "upright bebop bass" the encoded answer?

I don’t know how, but I’m sure Teller was not just an innocent spectator here. I watched their “Coding” clip where they showed how they can communicate/indicate non verbally. I still don’t know how this trick was done but as they say just about every time, they’re liars, swindlers, cheaters and crooks. Teller was in this somehow!

There is a clear difference between hair of what she drew and what Teller shows to viewers before and after. What Teller shows before and after are identical, but that is not what she drew. The first letter of her sign is also different.
