I think microcement is a safer option for that
Its all good until you start rubbing your hand on the edges and it starts falling appart

I want to do this with my accent wall. I want the background to be black and then a white grey black with gold flakes coming down the top to the middle. Do i paint the wall with black paint or it like a primer? I know you mix the venetian plaster with paint drops. What type of paint though and also is the finish wax?
Your best bet is to draw a sketch & then take it from there. Also start with something small like a plaster board. Have you heard of " LIQUID WALLPAPER/SILK PLASTER " It's not the same thing but if you do that you'll have a much more easier time learning V.plaster 😊

Did you prep the wall in anyway so the moisture doesnt warp the drywall? And did you finish coat the plaster to prevent cracking and flaking?

Generally a primer is needed to help it stick and a sealer to seal the wall to keep moisture out and drying even @@Steinbrecher003
I assume you put down a layer of sealer over the drywall before applying the plaster? Also what did you use as a finish or hard coat to keep the plaster from flaking or cracking afterwards?
its venetian plaster, yes I prime the wall and it does not crack :)

Great work! What are the “copper” like tim foil sheets called? Also, when I use lyme plaster and want to get the similar effect but have a paint instead of this foil underneath, what type of paint would be suitable to go under the layer of lyme plaster?
Lot of questions mate 😄 The foil called copper metallic leaf Do not use paint under venetian. Its special metallic paint (venetian paint)

Haha it is not for aging. You seem like expert and as you know you cant age wine near sun light. So its just for display before party 😃
I mean coll and all but metal and glass and not friendly after few glasses i can see somone grabbing and accidentally smashing bottle against metal.
