The SBBN goes to show that students can do more than drinking beer. With a total of 22 students we are busy putting forward the most groovy grooves, holy hits and the most lit loops. We are not concerned with sneaky swing nor old and humpy music. Snappy funk and confusing fusion: That´s, what makes us happy! Under the guidance of our Bandleader Berend van Deelen, we have flourished within a short period of time and become a fully grown Big Band where quality and companionship go hand in hand.
In that we are founded and led by a student, we are unique in the Netherlands! Tho there are many more reasons why we are unique. With a wide repertoire, tameless enthusiasm and skillful musicians we guarantee legendary shows. Not only during our own projects, but also playing Gala ́s, company events or your mother ́s birthday!
