Wish i had seen this earlier now I have an R2 motherboard with some parts I cannot use from the R1 like the GPU heatsink the power button and the corner light is also different. Hate Dell for doing this.

I tried to remove the fan on the gpu but it was stuck only the right was detached then I asked my dad and he did it. IN ONE TRY. (I have Alienware Alpha R1)

I've never understood videos like this. If you're using the graphics amp and a beefy gpu, you're not REALLY running it on the Alpha...

You forgot to mention that under r2 CPU fan there is also a M2 SSD slot

can you upgrade the cpu? I think it has a i7 6600t. Can i upgrade that with a 7th generation or 8th i7 or will that be overkill. I have external gpu so graphics wont be a problem.

i have noticed that i have same laptop with i5 1060 . they have heat sink with only 2 pipe to insulate the heat as compare to i7 cpu. alienware with i7 6700hq has 3 pipelines to insulate the heat out of it which is cool to see and they are very efficient then i5 heat sinks . to keep the price low as possible . but just here want to tell you about .

Also your fps is locked at 60, if you unlock it, it will go upwards of 70 maybe even 80 fps.

Nice work. If possible please add msi afterburner's onscreen display for fps ,GPU usage , temperature etc. for future games. And just a silly questions why do you have a gtx 1070 in your amplifier even though you have a 1070 on board ?
