It is possible to accept that everyone has the right to visit the place they want but it is not possible to accept collaboration with a dictatorship that is killing the Cuban people. People full of needs in Cuba, and all because that murderous dictatorship steals the money that tourists bring and uses it to promote dictatorships in other countries and that lead to the impoverishment of entire societies. You must be ashamed to collaborate with them and at the same time lie when you say that you love Cuba and Cubans. That is a great shame because all that money, far from helping the Cuban people, is plunging them into slavery and poverty. Money used to buy means of repression and increase their personal accounts in other countries to guarantee only their future and that of their families while the people go to hell Open your consciences and stop traveling to Cuba until it is a free country, without political prisoners without repression , without hunger. The services, the food and the resorts are also in a very bad conditions specially the medical services. It will be terrible if you get sick overthere. The country is currently experiencing an outbreak of a mosquito-borne disease. This disease is called Oropouche and causes very annoying and dangerous symptoms such as nausea, fever, headaches, decline in appetite and in some cases can cause a kind of meningitis. The dictatorship does not have all the means and resources to provide medical attention for the people or visitors.If they tell you otherwise , do not believe them because it is a big lie. The dictatorship has gained thousands of people since the early 1990s thanks to tourism but not a single penny of that money has been used to improve the lives of this people but to support and collaborate with other dictatorships in the region and the most visible recent example is what is happening in Venezuela where there are thousands of Cuban minions paid by the dictatorship to massacre, repress , imprison and violate the human rights of the people of Venezuela. It is time not to travel to Cuba, that bad government has destroyed a jewel in the Caribbean and you can collaborate and much in the elimination of that dictatorship. Make us aware and help us with your understanding DO NOT TRAVEL TO CUBA, FREEDOM FOR ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS IN THE PRISONS OF THE DICTATORSHIP. NO COMMUNISM. DOWN WITH THE CASTRO-CANEL DICTATORSHIP DON’T TRAVEL TO CUBA

I loved the video, I am seriously thinking about going this fall. I have been doing a lot of research on Cuba and know that they do experience shortages in white wine and some foods. Still not sure if I want to go here memories flemenco or one of the others. Did you book online or through a travel agent?

Great video man. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S

Just got back from here 2 weeks ago….Finally stopped shitting my pants now, this place is a dump, save the extra $500 and go to Mexico or the DR

This hotel is very bad! An absolute nightmare! To start of, please understand that we were of course aware that the standards in Cuba are not same as in Europe and we adjusted our expectations, but I would rate this hotel overall 1 star (then I’m being very generous). Below my entire story I need to share to protect anyone from making the mistake to book a stay in this “hell on earth”. On day 3 of our holidays, half the hotel had a food poisoning! The affected people went to the hotel manager and hotel doctor where they told every individual that they were the only person feeling sick and that it is probably because of different bacteria, warmth etc. Well, trust me when I am saying this was no light stomach inconvenience!!! (Sparing you the details). When tourists were continuing to complain and being more persistent, they were threatened to be thrown out of the hotel (and country) by immigration. Many guests requested to be moved to another hotel. Lines of people with complaints. We were told by one other guest that he was taken separate by hotel director accompanied by 2 security guards and asked to fill a positive review on the internet after they agreed to change him to another hotel. When he refused to do that, they again threatened him to call immigration to have him removed from the country. Review details: FOOD: - Everyday the same menu - In the la carte option you get the left overs from previous day buffet - disgusting taste. You kind of instinctively know that probably you should not eat this, but you do as you have no other options. - Smell is very specific and after first day you can’t stand the smell of the dining anymore - One tourist noticed a worm coming out of a bread - Half hotel had food poisoning ROOMS: - very damaged. Floors and curtains are all damaged. Scaffolding falling off the walls. - Airconditioning doesn’t function. It either goes full speed or not at all. Which means “you melt or blow out of your bed”. The airco blows lukewarm moist air with mushroom smell. - Pillows and Bed stink and are covered with mold and stains. - Towels stink so badly that we air dried ourselves on the balcony - Towels not being changed. When we asked the reception, we got stinky beach towels with holes for our room. - Bathroom is dirty and damaged. Tabs and sanitary are all covered with limestone and stains. - No toilet paper in bathrooms (also not in bathrooms in public area). Everyday we needed to go to reception to ask for toilet paper. - 1 day no running water in room due to broken pump - No bottled water provided in rooms. Again needed to be daily asked at reception. BUILDING: - Cockroaches running through the hall and dining. - Very old and not maintained at all. - Not airconditioned - Elevators are very old, damaged and scary. The elevators look horrible and function very badly. The buttons are not working properly. Temperature in elevator is far >30 degrees. People were making a prayer when in lift and were relieved when arrived on floor. - 1 day no electricity (walking the stair in >30 degrees) - Toilet doors are broken and won’t close or lock. - WiFi often not working LOCATION: - The beach feels like a place apart from the hotel. The beauty of the beach in contrast to the disrepair of the interior of the hotel is a difference of day and night! - Swimming pools at hotel looks nice - Side note. The beauty of the nature makes it look great, this is no achievement of the hotel.

Ya no tiene la cafetera

Mi nombre es Leonardo, quería contar mi experiencia, con mi esposa fuimos al Iberostar bella costa en Julio del 2023, lamentablemente no fue lo que esperábamos las habitaciones realmente viejas y sin mantenimiento, por las noches cortan el agua caliente y el WIFI, las paredes sin pintura y con olor a humedad, pero lo peor es que esta lleno de bichos adentro (cucarachas e iguanas). Un día de lluvia se inundo la habitación, brotaba agua DEL TECHO, parecía una pelicula de terror. La comidas son escasas, solo hay un solo lugar por vez para comer para todos los huéspedes, lo que significa que a la hora de abrir cada lugar es realmente imposible poder agarrar algo, no existe la carne de vaca ni las frutas, no dan vino en los almuerzos y las cervezas están calientes, no tienen hielo porque no les funcionan las heladeras, ellos dicen que es por el bloqueo... En mi estadía de 12 días, solo dos veces cambiaron las toallas porque, según ellos, no había lavadero o lavanderia . Son escasas la sombrillas tanto en la playa como en la pileta, por lo tanto nunca llegas a tener una. Años anteriores hemos ido al hotel Barcelo Sol y Mar y nada de lo que pasa en el Iberostar paso allí. Una experiencia que no se la deseo a nadie. Saludos Leonardo

Muy buen video mi esposa y yo vamos a ir en agosto 14 al 16de somos de Monterrey y somos adultos mayores y nos gustó las instalaciones gracias y que Dios los siga bendiciendo

Is there a fridge in the room? Also, are you able to obtain a full bottle of wine for your room to sip on the balcony? (I don't care for beer or sweet drinks). It looks like a lovely place, not too big to walk around.

My husband and I will be going to this Resort June 13th to the 20th of this year we were there nine years ago and looking forward to it again

I used to work for the corporate headquarters of the Princess Hotels International back in the late 80s...It was nice back then. Now, that whole area has changed so much..one must be very careful

We enjoyed the Bella Costa hotel in Varadero earlier this year thanks to watching your videos. 😊 Now we are interested in this resort. We have never been to Acapulco Mexico and was wondering if it is safe to stay in the resorts there. Also, did hotel guests at this resort have to pay extra for the beach loungers/ chairs? Were there any evening shows in a theater each night at this resort?
