Abel and I
มุมมอง 2512 หลายเดือนก่อน
Short video of me and Abel ,( My 1,5 year Old German Shepherd). Playing and practicing at the same time. I don't need or use cookies to make him do stuff. The play and his toy are his reward. On walks he is focused , not on cats , other dogs, bikes ....., just on his toy and me. But it is up to me to keep it interesting enough

REW microphone calibration
มุมมอง 4.7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Often people ask themselves if they can use their YPAO or Audyssey microphones ( the ones that come with their Yamaha,Denon,Marantz,....receivers ) to measure their hometheatre room or listening position with REW . I will try to answer that question in this video by showing you the difference between a calibrated UMIK-1 and an uncalibrated YPAO microphone. I will also show how you can make a ca...
REW single measurement vs multiple measurements vs moving microphone measurement

Please excuse me for my bad english in this video. My native language is Dutch, but I do my best.... In this video , I want to show the difference between a single sweep measurement , multiple sweeps averaged and a moving microphone measurement (MMM) all done with REW around the listening position of my home theatre. A single sweep in the listening position can not be used as a reference to equ...

Changing a motorcycle tire with zip ties
มุมมอง 440K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows the complete process of changing a tire using zip ties. Bare in mind this is only my second tire I ever did and the first one is 1 year ago, so I didn't really practice this. It may not be the fastest way, but I did not need the use of specific tools, so it can be done by everyone without fear of damaging the rim with tire irons. The tire is a Michelin pilot power 120 70 zr17 O...

so, skipping all that bs, the bottom line is to calibrate your room you need calibrated microphone.
bgm 이 너무 시끄럽고 정말 병신같습니다...
0:52 wtf !! c’mon man!! if you have a calibrated microphone you don’t need the other microphone !!!! The whole point is that we already have a good microphone and we can’t afford to buy a calibrated microphone.
Thank you , you made my day !
Love the music
Unless you get payed for videos or enjoy changing tires all day, just pay. It's not that much and is done quickly with the tire changing machine.
I do not get payed for videos and I do not specifically enjoy changing tires, although I do enjoy maintaining my own motorcycles ( and oldtimercars). Since I do ride the motorcycles a lot as in every day and since I currently have a rather powerfull bike with expensive tires (BMW S1000XR) , The difference in price online for a Michelin Road 6 vs at a dealer is significant. I am not that guy that does buy a tire online, bringing it to a shop to place it...... And really, if you have watched the video, you see that it would take more time making an appointment, riding to a tireshop to change while waiting and returning home , then to just do the job myself (half an hour), when I have the time. In the main time , I check brakes, brakepads , chaintension and other stuff and the bike is maintained way better. I hope you see my point.
Watch out disks
That's some real Micky mouse shit right there!
What size zip tie
For the rear tire I used 78cm x8mm zip ties, because I had them, but for a 180 tire , you would be fine with 60cm ties also. And if you don't have these, you could actually zip two shorter ties (fe 40cm) together and that would also do the job
Thanks
Great video, I've just been ripped right off by getting my tyres replaced so was looking for a video to give me some tips. I have changed my own tyres in the past but it was a nightmare and took two of us. This method makes it look easy so I'm definitely trying this next tyre change.
For an even easier install; put the rim in the Freezer Overnight and put the rubber tire in the Sun for a few hours before installation, it makes it fun to change tires!
rubber tire in the sun. Definitely , a warm tire makes it a lot easier, because the rubber is a lot more flexible. The rim in the freezer....I guess most do not have a freezer big enough to put a rim in. I don't think the rim will shrink enough to really make a difference anyway. For fitting bearings , that is a whole other thing. Putting them in the freezer make a lot of difference
@@gvybin My Honda Rebel cmx250c's back rim is only 15" and is the hardest to tire-mount by hand, the front 18", i don't worry about, thanks for thr cool video!
Purtroppo con la gomma posteriore non lo puoi fare 😬
Oh, yes you can , In this video I do a 180 55 17 rear tire : Oh, sì che puoi, in questo video faccio una gomma posteriore 180 55 17: th-cam.com/video/HNYA16h_dLc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Aj07AYFidqeXAXNt
Great method. Works fine with a 190/55 Michelin Road 5 too. Just lube the tire edge well with mounting paste, and also the inside edge of the rim when taking it off. When installing lube the outside edge of the rim well. The ease of putting it one is surprising. You can reuse the zip ties.
Anyone have a calibration file for the Behringer C-1U microphone?
Shame there's no meaningful dialogue instead of that mind numbing migraine "music".....
True story...I was skeptical of this working on a big 17" cruiser, rear wheel/tire. But just tried it and it worked great - with one minor exception - I did have to coax the last bit on with a tire iron.
I had tried every way ti get my Dunlop on the front rim ( I Know .. easy job). I tried the socket spacers trick, and messed with "Spoons" for hours in the heat, and was about to give up. Then I saw this video, and since I already had the zip ties (12 of them) on the tire, I pushed and shoved, but my 125 pounds couldn't do the trick, So I finally pulled out one spoon and tried again. Bam! in a matter of minutes the tire was on! I even managed to save most of the length of the zip ties by cutting the tips off just below the latch. All in all, a good start to the day! Thanks, Bro.. you showed me that it could be done!
Drop center! Good job! Bad music.
bouncing back and forth on break rotor? That's basically guaranteed to warp.Place some wood underneath between rotors or place old tire
Change tyre with zip ties: Step 1. Have a bench vise at your disposal
so?? anything else to add?
@@gvybin all the other steps, I guess my comment is just as helpful as the video
@@tried12usernames I didn't see a video, where you gave informative information? You don't have to watch the video, do you? The video is over 3 years old now. I have changed all my motorcycle tires this way at home without a single problem. The bikes are sport or sporttouring, all with Michelin pilot power or Michelin Road 120/70/17 front and 180/55/17 rear so I guess something must be right. There are other ways to change tires at a professional shop or DIY at home. It is not the goal of this video to show them all. I know other ways to break the bead of a tire. I show almost real time, with details, one easy possible method to change a tire in about 15 minutes at home. There is no clickbait in the title or false information in the description. I do not earn money on TH-cam, I am not an influencer of some sort, just a random guy that shares information. I leave it to that
@@gvybin indeed I don't and I didn't, stopped watching at the vise grip
@@gvybin I also didn't read all that, stop being mad it wasn't even a mean joke to begin with get over yourself
In einer Werkstatt dauert das 5 min.... Und die Kosten sind gering.... Da lohnt sich der ganze Aufwand garnicht 🫣
How isn’t anyone talking about how this is literally the easiest way to remove and mount a motorcycle tir? I’ve tried every method. This one is the easiest and fastest and requires no tools basically
I've changed out motorcycle tires like this on my ADV bike a few times after blowing a tire in the middle of nowhere. Zip ties weigh nothing and take up so little space, I make sure that anytime I head out for a cross country ride, I have at least 2 dozen of them laying in the bottom of my pannier. I've been known to strap tupperware back on with them after a get off too!
This is the best way to mount and unmount while unharmed the wheel
For God sake axe the agonising sound.
yeah, i can;t get access to a "calibrated mic"
Great tip to use a heat gun to make the tire more flexible.
Good
tylko po co tyle trudu? pokaż jak z wyważeniem koła bo to zrobią w profesjonalnym zakładzie z wyważeniem za 75 zł.
Suggestion: remove the rotor or support the wheel to keep the rotor from being pressed on, it's fairly easy to warp one.
I could have used the tie-wrap trick yesterday. 😅
Sinceramente non ho capito la bilanciatura..comunque bravo
This man is a genius.
what if you have a tube
Stick the tube in the tire first.
Все получилось идеально! СУПЕР! Огромное спасибо!
Пожалуйста, я рад, что смог помочь
Nice way to damage your rotors
O dear and again ..... A 100 remarks and answers on this. And I changed a lot of rear and front tires this way, since I released this video. No rotors were harmed.
Thank you I have just tried this way, I am 70 and fitted new tyre to my Kawasaki gpz500s on my own in minutes, unbelievable.
You're welcome, glad it also worked for you
I'm so pissed right now! I just changed my tires last night and didn't use this technique. I fought like hell with spoons and ended up scratching my rims. I wish I had seen this yesterday!
Great idea using the vise and the custom backer piece for the rim!
I dischi dei freni stanno soffrendo.🤦♂️
Cool trick 🙂
finally some fucking dope music on a youtube video, thank you for sharing
Today I tried the first time on the front tire of my honda goldwing 1500. It worked very well. Tomorrow I will try the rear tire. Thank you
Thank you for the vidéo very good 👍
I just broke and fell through the kitchen table and am now in A and E. I think the tyre was fully on. Looking forward to getting married again soon.
Thanks for the video I will try the mmm. Do you use any sort of room correction DSP like the miniDSP-HD? Tod in Vegas 😊
Hi Tod, In my HT , I only use a HTPC ( its an MSI gaming series PC infact ) as a source. I stream movies over Kodi or Stremio, I watch youtube, I stream music and the PC also has a DVD slot , that I seldom use. So I installed Equalizer APO 1.2.1 on it. That is a free Parametric multiband equalizer for Windows using Audio Processing Object (APO) technology, which allows you to change the sound parameters of all applications at once at the operating system level. Using REW measurements of the raw system and choosing a certain room correction curve, I can create some sort of automated correction file that can be uploaded in APO 1.2.1. In other words, I don't have to play with the parametric equalizers myself. I only have to point out my desired room correction curve . Of course , before starting , I made sure I had my two subwoofers at the best place in the room to prevent dips and I have a pretty good acoustic threated room to begin with.
The only problem with this is, getting soapy water ( or any moisture ) in side the tire will cause the rim to deteriorate. or corrode. Use WD 40 or a silicon spray instead..
Tire mfrs say do not use petroleum products. OK to use cooking oil.
Thank you! It worked like a charm.
Worst way I’ve Ever seen ! I could have Done that in Half the Time🤣
Great vid but watch out with brake discs
too much time. Clamp it in vice. Pull out a dremel and tin snips and cut it off in mins.
After going through a couple of rear tire tubes (pinch damage), I finally tried using zip ties and lord does this technique work. My only regret is that I didn't know about this years ago. Compared to the cost of tubes and tires and the frustrating work involved, the zip ties are cheap, cheap, cheap, but they can be reused as mentioned earlier. Mounting tube tires are a bit more work than shown, but the principle of using the center groove is the same.
