Had my first 6 days ago. What a huge improvement! You don’t really notice how bad your eyes have gotten since it’s gradual. No pain, only a little sticking of the eye lashes from the drops… 3:36

Cefuroxime is 2nd gen not 3rd... thanks for the video and commentary 👍
nice video
Thankfully
Thanks very helpful 🎉
It’s an excellent tutorial. Easily understood. Thank You
the observation arm has to be moved with respect to illumination arm to keep the angle of incidence equal to angle to reflection
I have moderate tritanopia and there is absolutely no difference between that and the normal vision
I’m not colour blind and there’s subtle differences. tritanopia is very dull. The sky looks like a cloudy day.
Doctor: never stare into the sun Also doctor: with my medical degree im going to shine a bright light into your eye while the rooms lights are off
This is really cool until you hear it playing as the anesthesia kicks in lmao.
Hey I can't read the writing on the right🥺

What's the angle between illumination and the observation system ?
Having just undergone this surgery for my left eye yesterday, I really appreciate such a clear and diagrammed video showing exactly what was done and how. I can now place all the strange sounds, cold fluids and the one somewhat painful part (insertion of the new lens) were all about! My colour vision and 3-D depth perception are already markedly improved, visual resolution not so much and there's a gray patch in my eye, but I guess what's what the optometrist follow-up today is all about! Thanks for the video, even if I am not the target.
How are you now? How is your vision? Is it painful when theyy insert the lens?
@@sivanesannesan-i2w Thanks for asking! Very happy with my vision now, both eyes see equally well, though my 'new' lens sees whites as much whiter then my 'old' lens which sees things more yellow. This is only apparent when looking with one eye or the other though, in normal vision they balance out just fine. As for inserting the lens, yes it was the only genuinely painful moment of the surgery but it was not THAT severe, and also over very quickly. No lingering pain from it in the rest of the procedure or after. If you have this operation upcoming or even just fear you may have a cataract and might have to have it done, don't be worried. It's not bad at all.
Wasting time 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Learning so much from your videos Dr Sirj. Very excited for this new series! A big thank you to you and the team for all the hardwork in ensuring we get high quality learning videos!
Protanopia came in allot clearer for me than any other one! it simply looked allot more defined!
Finger counting test is done at what distance from patient?
1 meter
Good job!!
Thank you for this video. It's very helpful for beginners. However, I noticed that at 3:25 you are able to see the patient's full name & birthdate. For data privacy reasons I think you should take it down?
Thanks! Blurred out now.
Dr Sirj thanks a million for your amazing videos, really enjoyed the cataract surgery and the cat eye exam video. I was hoping for your help in regards of international junior doctors becoming opthalmologists in the UK, Is it very competitive and hard to find a training Job in ophthalmology nowadays? Is their a way to start a training Job wiithout doing PLABs? Any advice? Much appreciated.
