I prefer the idea of my art being evergreen. Here I am on your video 4years later 🤯. I had instagrams for my art and soap business and neglected them terribly. Made a facebook and the idea of maintaining my business and art pages there, gave me an instant headache. They are all currently scheduled for deletion. I hate the thought of jumping through hoops popping my ankles, just to get my art out there or sell products. I've decided to sell my skin care products via word of mouth and invest in TH-cam to get my art out there. Maybe I'll post on pinterest. I only started to lean into art this year and I hardly had time to just soak in the journey, thoughts of posting haunted me from the time I created the page. I hate that pressure as an introvert. A 30 second reel is like dust in the wind in my mind and I usually never revisit the ones I've saved anyway. Doom scrolling is mentally exhausting and time consuming. Not to mention reels have destroyed my attention span.😢 You guys get my points!

Feeling the same way now. I’m a writer and Instagram was just a waste of time during the three years I tried to make it there. Everyday I would try to go viral, only happened a couple of times but no followers! Nobody efing cares there ! Not a real community im out of it !

Are these classes offered by a college or by individual private companies offering classes?

I was so confused because there was a club at my school last year called students for life that advocated against abortion. I had no idea what that machine had to do with it, lol

question! is there a way i can take classes like this without having to re enroll and pay for art school? is community college that solution? idk if they'd offer classes like this but i miss being an artist and i miss art school 🥲

As a fellow queens gal who used to live in Williamsburg/Bushwick, definitely check out Spoonbill & Sugartown the next time you’re in the area! Great bookstore with a good variety of stuff and it’s in an adorable little indoor strip mall with thrifts, a tattoo shop, a Tibetan goods store, and a few others I’m forgetting. Fell in love with it years ago and have to keep myself from going too often - my wallet would belong entirely to them if I did 😅

Hyper-realism is just a degree of realism. People use the term to try and make their work sound more important, and they're so special/talented compared to everyone else.

In general mold isn’t horrible for your health unless you are one of those that is sensitive to it.

This is pretty cool. Instagram has been useless for my music so far. The only value I’ve seen is getting to see my friends’ photos and life events. I don’t love ticktock either due to its fleeting nature. TH-cam is indeed the best platform for my music so far for me. At least when you get a subscriber, that person resonated with your content and might be around to see the next video, and to watch it years later if they want. Thanks for this.
