This video is very well made. I'm just someone who enjoys learning about these types of incidents and it was recommended among many similar videos. So I was shocked when I saw this only has 83 views and was developed by those in the community. Hearing what locals had to say was so moving and I think it painted an accurate picture of both the problem at hand and the impact it has had on residents. The speakers were extremely well-worded and I could feel their frustration with the lack of accountability. This is a severe issue and unfortunately one that affects so many in NA and around the world. I grew up next to Pompton Lakes, New Jersey where similar watershed issues (from Dupont arms manufacturing) resulted in severe contamination and I hear echoes of that in this story and many others. I wish you all the best in holding the responsible parties accountable for their mistakes. Their lack of it is nothing short of environmental violence. Good on you for staying active.

I have family that lives a few towns over from Elmira and have never heard about this. Even more troubling, and indeed shameful, is the production of Agent Orange here in Canada. I'm really very grateful that this documentary was released, and I hope it helps put a spotlight on a truly urgent cause. Many thanks to those who have been fighting these greedy trolls for the last 30+ years.

We are from the government and we are here to help! What a disaster. I have been in that plant many times and know people that worked there back in the 70's and 80's and they claimed they made a lot of DEET back then too They have little pumping stations all around the aquifer that pump the water up, separate the chemicals and then pumps it back down, they run 24/7 cleaning the water but who would ever drink it again?
