Cabin tour of A78 (Australia Deck). This is the highest cabin deck you can be on and the closest to mid ship - being right next to the glass lifts.
The cabin did look tired and some items broken but overall great for our first cruise.

First 7 minutes of the A final (Go Pro obviously got fed up with my driving). TQ'd but dropped back to 4th and couldn't quite catch 2nd/3rd at the buzzer.

First time out with the Schumacher LD1. Qualified 3rd. A better second leg of the A main saw me finish 3rd and take 3rd overall.

Started 7th and was a comfortable 1st until I ran out of fuel and the engine started playing up. After that I lost focus and played with people in bump up despite being a couple of laps down.

First time out on dirt with the Mugen MBX8 WE. Car went really well but my own mistakes (and being too tight to buy new tyres) saw me not qualify or finish higher in my final than I would have liked to.

Last of the Summer Series and first time out with the Mugen MBX8 WE. Qualified 4th and finished 2nd. Car got better as it loosened up.
Nemo Raceway E Final 20/09/2020

Qualified 34th out of 71 at my first visit to Nemo Raceway. Found the start of the final difficult but had a good last stint and caught 3rd, and overtook, for bump-up on the final lap but then rolled it on the last corner! Unedited thus contains swearing and talking crap.

Qualified 3rd, finished 4th. Had a nightmare of a pitstop lap and simply couldn't find the pace for a podium spot.

@@A152631 what do you mean fall apart, TLR are awsome and strong. Cleaning up in the states and second quickest at the worlds so far.
Hoping to visit as a RC newbie with my 1/8 Tekno EB48 2.0 plenty of practice required first I think. Track looks fun will have to see what tyres I need for astro

What was wrong with your car Chris.
Still unknown. Did a fuel check on the Saturday and was doing 8:23. Removed the tank bung so should have been even more but ran out of fuel at 7 mins. Apparently came in empty the 2nd time as well. Wasn’t overally smoking and wasn’t signs of leaking (split pipe).
You should try a TLR 8x far superior car, you probably would have won much further ahead mate

@@DavidJohnson-pi8je Sorry David, I just heckle my friend's who have TLR's so thought you might have somehow known. I'm running a Mugen now but I always got on well with the JQ - just could be a little weak if you took a knock. Made sense to get the eco as I'm running the Mugen nitro. I had a brief run with a TLR but couldn't get on with it.

The beginning was painful to watch and it wasn’t your fault. And what was that marshal doing? He was in his own little world
I lost the plot very quickly. You can tell when it was just me getting wound up (generally the pitstops) but other times I'd hit a rut and I didn't get the rub of the green. Really frustrating as I had the fastest lap of the race - just didn't go my way (at all)

Without saying Brookthorpe (as I run it) it would be the Landshut track in Germany (40+ euros) Or BADMCC over in Northern Ireland. If in England probably JC.

I don't think so. ESBRC is now a UK nitro national track and dirt tracks in the UK need to be 'protected'.

@@wizardwithguns1 no - always worth doing a track walk before racing to get the perception right. Track is nearly always 4m wide but some corners at tracks look like 1

Ive never found it difficult. Suggest painting the shell a bright colour. Like everything, practice is key

It was OK. A little undergeared for the straight. We tightened it back up and I did another 10 mins plus after the race.

Nice! Is outdoor carpet considered a 'high grip' track? Can you get away with running medium hard tires?
It's Astroturf. Running mini pins or proline pinpoints would be best. Stiffen up the car a lot compared to running on dirt.
