Exactly! The NES is obviously much more difficult and expensive to collect for than the Odyssey 2. I couldn't pay the price that some of the wallet busters are going for now. I hope he's able to finish his list.

@ I think he lost steam on it when the garage sales dried up. Then he got a few from fans but honestly… not even sure if he is still looking for it… especially in this economy.

I was able to recover over a hundred by selling the console.

I'm not positive, but I believe it is a billiard ball. It had a similar weight and size as one anyways. I didn't have one around to compare it to when I restored it though. Thanks for watching.

The Neo Geo amazes me. I was never around one when they came out, nor do I know of anyone that had one. I've thought about collecting for the Neo Geo, but the prices get crazy. Maybe one day I will. As far as the Odyssey 2 goes, most games are inexpensive with the exception of 3 of them. There are a few Voice games that have some value as well. Right now I'm building the game cabinet for the games and that will be the final episode of the series. I hope to have it finished soon.

@ I got into Neo Geo at a good point. They weren’t cheap but well before things got bananas and you could get a handful of games for $50-75 CIB. Also MVS games were dirt cheap and while they are still mostly affordable, even those have gone up some.

@ the only people who had Neo Geos in America were Rickey Schroeder wealthy or drug dealer yolo rich…. Or hyper irresponsible max out your credit card those. We only saw them as rewards for game magazine sweepstakes and the odd Nicalodeon kid game show grand prize type things.

I remember seeing magazine ads for the Neo Geo and the 3D0 but I was never around either when they came out. I have all the Neo Geo roms on my Analog Pocket. We are planning to do some reviews of those soon. I really like the Metal Slug games. I've contemplated purchase the CIB games I like and doing a series on that in the future. I've been working on a new series that will hopefully start soon. I've ran into one road block after another for over a year and a half now.

Thanks! The one box that was a mess was Monkeyshines. I was able to clean the others up. The game boxes with silver paint tend to come off easier than the gold ones. I hope your Christmas was great. I'm trying to finish building the game cabinet now.

Maybe try finding different roms. Also, there is a setting in the menu regarding super grafx. You can change it and then restart the console and try again. You can also reach out to Krikzz for support. They are usually pretty quick to respond.

Thanks for that. I had to check on that before buying it. The one thing I hate the most are the black bars on the side. I recently bought the Analogue Super NT and the Analogue Mega SG on eBay and was very happy to find advanced video options when it comes to enabling full screen gameplay that doesn't cut into the subtitles at the bottom of the screen when playing RPG games. I love it when the screen is stretched and everything appears larger. 😊

The paint turned out pretty nice. You just have to apply good wet coats with silver or the paint will look hazy.

I'm not sure about the different versions of the game, but in ours we can select the characters upon starting each game. We will have a review video coming out soon.

I would start with spraying it with electronic cleaner and working the button in and out many times. Then I would use some dielectric grease and work it in by moving the switch in and out many times. You should also consider resoldering the board and switches, the solder becomes old and brittle over time that may lead to cracking. Good luck. Thanks for watching the video.

I also want to mention that the power jacks and voltage regulators are bad about going out on these. You can buy them from console5.com at very reasonable prices. If you are going to go through the trouble of taking it apart, you may as well change those out. They also sell new AC adapters.

No, it's a single player game.

I haven't played it yet, so I'm not sure about the DLC. We will probably play it next weekend and do a review of it for a future video. I completely agree about the plush. I think that an Ashy Slashy plush would have been better. As well, 2 games would have also been better. I guess we should be happy they made a physical release at all. Thanks for watching the video.
