    I’m on this journey with you mama. My boy is 2 years and 3 months. I got his diagnosed at 16 months and it’s a lot but therapy is leading to progress. I think the thing is as moms we just don’t want our kids to be so frustrated when they want something but just can’t communicate it. My kid is starting to use an AAC after doing well with PECS

    I liked your vid and it's 4 points. I have been married 40 years. (Protestant, so I am more focused on Bible reading than rosaries but this is a minor point.) 1. A Christ/God centered marriage - yes this is the main thing, It stops so many marriage traps - often originating from one being self centered. A focus on Christ reminds one our happiness comes from within, with a relationship to our creator. A spouse should not be viewed as having to make us happy. In fact our spouse is our first mission field, giving/sharing the joy of our relationship with Christ with them - to focus on their journey into the kingdom. A Christ focus REALLY helps women when they realize their Godly submission to their husband is a role model for his own submission to Christ. ...and helps him with his submission to his tough role as husband. 2. Facing our inner demons. Yes again! In particular having to courage to communicate. Indeed the rough edges of marriage is EXACTLY what makes us grow as people. One trick: A lot of our inner demons spring from childhood hurts. It can help to envision your spouse when they were 5 years old and hurting then. 3. Being forgiving. One trick is have a menu of past memories where you needed forgiveness, or you are embarrassed thinking of what you did.... it puts forgiving others into perspective. 4. Safe spaces: Yes and no. (The “yes” part is obvious.) There are things one does not share with a spouse (but that is a long discussion.) But, I do not mean to detract from the good points you made here.

    There are many many people out there who lived their lives "god first" that were miserable the whole time until they broke free. Also, which god? Im going to guess you just so happen to mean the one that is most popular where you were born. What about the others? People in other lands are equally convinced that their god(s) are the ones that one should devote their whole life to and they will give the same kind of evidence for their claim that you will for yours. So who's right?

    It's in no way the hardest job in labor. Maybe due to the fact it's a 24-hour job, but a good father should always be working harder than the mother. You should both be on 24-hour watch, but the husband has to go out and bust ass all day. Trust me, I'd rather stay home and watch kids and clean the house over digging a trench in 114° heat for 8-10 hours.

    • @littlegirlarise_
      @littlegirlarise_ 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@zakpeppers6594 my statement doesn’t devalue hard jobs that men do. But being a mom is significantly harder than any job a man does. Mom’s sacrifice their bodies and sleep during pregnancy and postpartum. A mother is always thinking of her children. She gets no breaks unless she organizes one. The responsibility of the children always falls on the mom even if the kids have a hands on father.

    Do you pray the Rosary on your knees? I’m on the road all the time, so I pray while I drive. Most Mondays and Fridays I’m out of state and can usually pray all four Mysteries on my drive. (Sometimes, all four twice, I have some LONG commutes) I try to focus as much as possible, but when you are driving, it can be a challenge (“is that truck going to change lanes?” etc) I visualize the images in the popular Rosary guide trifold, as I say each prayer. For example, the Our Father first few lines are the third Luminous Mystery, proclamation of the Kingdom. The ‘Pray for us now’ is always the 5th Glorious Mystery and ‘at the hour of our death’ is the 5th Sorrowful Mystery.’ I’ve been praying the Rosary almost constantly since pre-Covid. I’ve wonderful 54-day Novenas about helping others (brings me to tears to share) But nothing I pray for me ever seems to be answered and I’m so confused. It’s like the only answer I ever get is ‘no’ and I feel so let down. Does anyone have any advice? I know the Rosary isn’t magic, but it’s like I never get any answer or guidance or assistance.
