Riding in the southeast offers plenty of terrain variety, hot weather, and lots of humidity. Be it on a mountain bike, dirtbike, or prepping your Ford F-150 to get you there, this is how I do it. Come take a ride with me around my home in Atlanta, or as I venture out into other great bike trails, bike parks, and hidden gems to ride around the southeast.
Virginia Key in 4K | MTB | Miami, Florida
Next trip down to Miami make sure to pack the bike also with that speedo. Not only will you find a few local places to ride with ton of awesome features, but the views from specifically this ride at Virginia Key are incredible. I have put together some clips of my favorite features here, and then towards the end of the video enter I ride "Purple Haze", which is by far the best section at the park.

Taking a mountain bike ride on Atlanta's Cochran Shoals trail system via the Sope Creek entrance. In this video I ride only the northern loop on my Santa Cruz Chameleon. $8 admission, no parking fee. It's best not to ride your first time there in the summer, it's brutal!

Total newb to MTB, been on the south loop twice, first time ever on a single track. It totally kicked my butt and I have an E-MTB!
No doubt! The Sope and Cochran loops are truly challenging while your getting into the sport. Keep at it though and after mastering these two youll feel pretty comfortable pretty much everywhere else that's in the Atlanta area 👍🏻
What loop do you guys prefer riding at Cochran? The upper Sope Creek section or lower?
Both, but I prefer the lower loop.

You should do the double black trails at VK. You only did one expert trail and it was a single diamond.
