I use steam on Mac to run the game. Currently it shows that dota 2 can run on MacOS on steam. When I install steam, there is a notification regarding Rosetta 2. All the process is pretty automatic, all I do is install steam and download dota 2 from steam. Not much hassle for me. There wasn't any buggy experience for me as of now, but there are times that I need to double click in the game to click on things that require single click. I restart the game and all is good.

Dota 2 shows that it runs on MacOS but I'm not sure if it is running native. But yea this performance is good enough for me.

Yes. Highest video settings with 16 gb variant. It is the base model. Currently I am using it to view documents, open browers and some light gaming (dota). Not a heavy user so this is good enough for me. Maybe you should go for M4 Pro.

If your Mac Mini M4 normal version refers to base model, yes it is possible. In fact, I think that Mac Mini M4 is better value for money as it is only 40% the price of a Macbook Pro M4 with a similar specs. Yes. M4 base model. Recommend to go for M4 pro or M4 Max model if you have the budget. My model struggles with City Skylines, eating out all the memory and requires swapped memory with just using two programs: city skylines and safari.

@ I can only afford m4 pro, personally I have no use for m4 max as I have a 4080 laptop.

Yea. I maxed out the graphics settings. But I'm not sure if I can increase the fps inside dota settings. I will also need to check if I can record higher than 60 fps with OBS. Lemme try out see if it works.

The color is space black. It is very dark. Fell in love when I first saw it.

i got the silver base model and i think i made the right decision.Black seems like it is not a apple mac but like a dell far away, while silver have great contrast on the apple logo.Silver is also scratch resistant and anti-fingerprit.Only go for black if you want everyone know you geta new laptop
