There were smiles going up
There smiles coming down
From inside the clouds
Back to the city sounds
But when I take a look around
Where have all the people gone?
The season’s sent them on their way
The weather is to die for

So onwards to the next place
The bus is packed and waiting

On the road to Rishikesh
All the turns are fading
Fall asleep until first light
When I wake, the view has changed
We are on the river’s shore
The city smells like offerings
Made the night before

All the people are the same
