Yes there are rules but always changing, best to search online for the current laws, as it was many years ago we filmed there

@@ReelSky Nice! feel this is where I’ll be heading, a custom made cinequad. Did you build your self or a company/person? I’m assuming you’re in the uk based on some content you’ve made in the euc/pev community. If so, is there a shop or person you can recommend for self builds etc?

As this was quite a while ago now and the iflight builds have come on so far, I would recommend getting a pre build quad, specialised for cinematic or long range, as they really have the tune and design nailed. You can build your own as we did, but it all depends on what parts of the hobby you enjoy. Yes we are based in the uk :)

@@ReelSky thanks.. I’ll definitely be getting a prebuilt quad initially but my goal is to build my own.. I guess with time I will have more clarity in builds. My experience with sim has had me building my own so I was intrigued. Thanks for the info 👌

Thanks a lot, yes always use an ND if it’s bright, to make sure you stick with the 180 degree shutter rule, configuration all depends on the shot and environment

Thanks a lot, very glad you enjoyed it ☺️ Firstly to enter Dubai with a drone it must be registered, so it’s highly likely they will take it at the airport and you collect it on your way out, if you get lucky and they don’t take it, you need a tourist permit to fly there and they are very strict on privacy laws, so I wouldn’t recommend flying without the permit, we have all the permits and registrations but only had to show the drones were registered at the airport on arrival. Never got asked after that
