    He really is happy ! I also had an abused stray and it took three weeks for him to trust me enough to go with me home. But even if he was truly happy there he was still traumatized ,he couldn't see men in bikes that he cowered in fear and he slept behind doors to become invisible, also whimpering loudly in his sleep. But he was also gloriously happy , lovely and faithful. I miss him a lot.
