    This reality has been created intentionally so that freedom to be 100% offered, God wanting to see the *free* choices/deeds to reward accordingly. The problem is with those who have used (are using) their freedom for doing evil on purpose, Satan with the other fallen angels (who, according to the "Parable of the weeds", have altered this world, the DNA... making the carnivores, the parasites, the viruses, bad bacteria etc.... to sustain the useless suffering) and their tools, the evil=stupid humans, not with the One who has offered freedom. The question is: Why so many were/are opposing to the main advice from Jesus Christ: to strive always for goodness, wisdom, justice... for perfection? *_"Be perfect therefore, as your Heavenly Father is perfect"_* Matthew 5, 48 Most probably, because just as it is easier to destroy something useful than to make/build something useful, in the same way it is easier to be evil=stupid than to be good=wise.

    • @filmeseverin
      @filmeseverin หลายเดือนก่อน

      This short earthly life is a school and exam for our immortal souls (us), for those who did not listen by the Creator to understand the value of "light" without experiencing the "darkness". So, humans are immortal souls cast out from Heaven to realize here the evilness=stupidity of the fallen angels, to not follow them anymore, by being stupid to use freedom for evil intentionally. Therefore, we live into an altered and ruled world by the fallen angels, *allowed as an exam for our immortal soul (for us) to prove to the Creator how good we really are, how much we love perfection and how much we detest evilness=stupidity,* to prove that we are not following the demons anymore, through our deeds in this short earthly life, which will be judged 100% correctly for each of us. *_"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad."_* 2 Corinthians 5, 10

    Editors Denis Alexander and Alister McGrath gather other intelligent minds from around the world to share their startling commonality: Richard Dawkins and his fellow New Atheists were instrumental in their conversions to Christianity. Despite a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, all are united in the fact that they were first enthusiasts for the claims and writings of the New Atheists. But each became disillusioned by the arguments and conclusions of Dawkins, causing them to look deeper and with more objectivity at religious faith. The fallacies of Christianity Dawkins warns of simply don't exist. Spending time in this fascinating and powerful book is like being invited to the most interesting dinner party you've ever attended. Listen as twelve men and women from five different countries across a variety of professions--philosophers, artists, historians, engineers, scientists, and more--explain their journeys from atheism to faith. In the end, you may come away having reached the same conclusion: authentic Christian faith is in fact more intellectually convincing and rational than New Atheism. "Lucid as well as exhilarating and wide-ranging." --Rupert Shortt, Von Hügel Institute, University of Cambridge, and author of God Is No Thing "Many people, including nonbelievers like me, have found Dawkins's strident atheism upsetting to the point of offensive. I would never have thought that--as Coming to Faith Through Dawkins shows in wonderful detail--for some, Dawkins's rantings were the spur to Christian faith." --Michael Ruse, Professor of Philosophy Emeritus, University of Guelph, Ontario "This is a novel book: real-life stories of people who have actually come to faith, not in spite of but through Richard Dawkins. It must be his own worst nightmare!" --William Lane Craig, Houston Christian University

    Is Sam Harris intelligent? Yes. But some intelligent people seem to be able to use their superior intellect to reach levels of stupidity that an average intellect could never even dream of. Are religions fake? Yeah, mostly. Does this mean that God doesn't exist? Nope. Can the scientific process and God co-exist? Yes. Can we trust scientific dogma? Clearly not. Does anyone know the truth (one way or the other) about any religion (including atheism)? Absolutely not. Has the Christian religion helped society to raise itself morally? Yes. Does God exist? I think most of us on some level understand that there is something beyond this level of reality that we cannot understand or explain.

    • @starfishk6571
      @starfishk6571 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The points Sam Harris makes are extremely sound. To disagree is one thing, but to believe his speeches are beyond idiotic, as you put it, is the frustration and religious delusion taking hold. Will human nature do anything it takes to assert its own belief in the superiority of its tribe over others even through the manifestation of a make-believe intimate relationship with them and only them via an invisible omnipotent force? Yes. Has Christianity had positive impacts on people's lives? Yes. Is it idealistic to consider the position of religion solely based on its principle of 'being a good person', rather than the real world effect it has on upholding many times toxic human behavior? Yes. Is it religious delusion to, despite having the awareness that humans are born into religion and predisposed towards a belief in universal religious ideas, maintain the idea that your god is the true god and you were born into the correct religion because you and your ego? Yes. When every single part of the human body has been adapted and evolved for the purpose of the fight for survival, can the naturally innate belief of a god be left out of consideration? No. It is a true convenience to be able to level the playing field (atheism vs Christianity) by waving off the validity of the vast majority of all other world religions without investing in them, dissecting them, or even knowing of them. It's actually atheism vs religion for atheists, and Christianity vs atheists vs religion #1 vs religion #2 vs religion #3... for Christians.

There must of been something or a God before Big Bang. ? Chicken or Egg? Egg of course. Again mutations and evolution.

    I am always suspicious of anyone whose antidote to dogmatism is dogmatism. Be atheist, believe in a supreme intelligence, or believe in the tooth fairy, but shut up about it. It is okay to be on board with fighting a religion or an atheism that is imposed. So fight what is imposed from either side, and leave people be free to choose to believe or not believe as they see fit.

    I once joked to a devout Baptist that I hope I will have my recently deceased dog as a companion when I go to heaven. He told me dogs do not have a soul and therefore will not be in heaven. I responded by telling him that if there are no dogs in heaven, then I would not want to end up there. He was an otherwise intelligent person who straight faced believes in nonsense.
