Sorry for your recent loss hope your ok 😻

On this topic of releasing old friendships, I feel called by spirit to share something quite personal. I hope it helps someone. Last spring, my Mum, who has advanced stage Dementia/Alzheimer's, was in hospital for 2 months following a serious injury in care. I had gone back to my home town for a week and ended up staying for the duration of her hospital stay; feeding her twice a day with a spoon, and numerous other family caring responsibiliites. A friend who I had known closely for 20 years, contacted me a couple of days before I was due to come home, and was pushing me to go out drinking. They all dont do a few drinks uo there. Its a Northern vibe of heavy craziness and I am well past that type of lifestyle. I said I didnt want to go, that I was tired, and wanted to see Mum fresh at the hospital before heading back the following day. The response - "You are making it very hard to remain friends with you." An assertive sobering harsh realization on my part resulted in me blocking her immediately. It took me a long time to process that. I came home depleted, grieving everything on a whole new level regarding my Mum, eveything felt like it was falling away from me.. people, connections. I felt more isolated than ever. In time, and it took some time, I realised that this is how far bad behaviour can stretch itself when we dont protect our hearts from out-dated connections. That my worth was never defined by this 'friend' or their approval. That it was my right to say no and mean no. That spirit would uplift me and bless me in the release of this projected burden. That pleasing was never going to lead me to an authentic connection with my heart. To anyone who is releasing something or someone. - You are loved. You have the right of discernment and choice. Spirit wishes to bless you abundantly in all things. This does not need to be earned. Find peace in the spaces inbetween, whilst you create room for a beautiful new love of self in your heart. 💜💚💜

The most significant change I've made in my adult life, beginning my daily walk, I intentionally did NOT do on Jan 1, I did it on Dec 31, but I have a tendency to buck normals. Just passed the 5 year mark. I've lost 40 pounds, and went from a 45 min 1 mile, to training for a 5k. It's funny you mentioned it being cold, I ran my 3 miles this am it was 32 degrees f and I had to wear three layers including insulated jumpsuit and stocking cap.

I had my cat Zippy from 8 to 18 and after she passed, a few years later, when I lived alone, she was around me all the time. I’d see her out the corner of my eye until I acknowledged her, she would make herself more known. I don’t see her anymore but I know Maisie will when she passes 😢 but hopefully not yet!! ♥️♥️♥️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I lost my cat in October and I've been wondering if she is still around me somehow or maybe become part of my spirtual guide team. Losing her has been really hard 😢

Thanks for sharing. I hope you are feeling better soon. Always good to have a cry when getting over an illness. I had a cat very similar in size and manner to Bedford for 15 years. He cane to me at a rime when I really needed him, and he was in very many ways like a little Shaman! I always knew he would pass on when he was needed else where, and I am sure he's now out there loving another so wonderfully and unconditionally. He once saved my life by calling to me at the doorway when I accidently left the gas on after having surgery. He was truly remarkable.🌷😻 On the topic of animals, I went for a walk this morning and was feeling very low. Heading back in to town, I came through a large field which often has grazing horses and a few sheep in it. There was a large pond of water from previous heavy rain at the bottom of the field and I was distracted by how all the horses were walking in a line around this pond. I thought, it's like they have gone down to the river to pray. 😏 Then, when I looked ahead, I suddenly rrealised I was walking between two sheep that didnt move as I approached. The larger sheep looked up at me, cool as a cucumber and I put out my hand like you would for a dog. It sniffed my fingers and then gave me this very strange loving slow wink. I said, oh would you like a little stroke, really expecting it to bolt off! But no, It stayed and happily let me pet it's head! Looking at me with this powerful calming happy smile in its eyes whilst I twiddled with its wooly hair! I have never had that happen to me before and I spend many hours in nature each week. 🤗 Animals sometimes provide such a beautiful space for acceptance. That acceptance stretches far beyond words and always seems to arrive just when it is needed. It reminds us that even when we are not in harmony, spirit holds harmony around us. 🙏💜

Helping with the horses and the kids etc. I'm not sure I'm ready for it, but I don't think the universe would've presented it to me if it wasn't time... 7:30 is definitely me all over! You made me realise I might as well give it a go... shame to waste an opportunity if the universe is trying to hand me one. It's been a hard couple of months.
