As the culmination of around 5 years of research and development work, we are pleased to announce details of our ranges of match rods. These are available in the Hi-’S’ Range and the CTX range.
Bomb & PVA Bag Fishing for Big Carp at Barston Lakes | Rob Wootton
A great feeder fishing tactic at this time of year is fishing with a bomb and PVA bag with pellets. To get the most out of this method, your setup and approach need to be right, so we brought Rob Wootton to Barston Lakes to talk us through the finer details.
Rob talks you through the choice of rods, line, reels and what size bomb/straight lead is his preferred choice and the reasons why. He then shows you how using a bait-up feeder can give you an edge when you need to feed a quantity of bed for the fish to graze over.
There are plenty of tips in the video that will help you when fishing this deadly tactic and if you have never done this style of fishing before, then be sure to give it a go using the information throughout the session.

the pellet wag hooks are awesome use them for bomb feeder even in smaller sizes for hard pellet fishing on the pole

It took me some time to finally go for the 12ft 360 Hi-s and I am so pleased I did! outstanding.
Something doesn't seem right about this approach to fishing. It is suppose to be a hobby, not stressed out and over thinking your pass time.
What size reels have you matched with those rods?

Hi I’ve bought two of these rods and I’m looking for two reels to fit them. One for distance fishing and one for fishing the Trent with around 60-80 gram feeders. Any recommendations
