    @tricres whoever you are. Do your research! Unbelievable that you would give "air" to such a conman. He is full of BS. He ripped off unsophisticated "sophisticated investors" through a loophole. Money he raised was used on preposterous "investments" that never would pass any rudimentary investment test. He has a history before IPO wealth and Mayfair 101, as well, in the media sector.... that also turned out to be a disaster. Hopefully he will spend some time in prison. Doubt he could ever be rehabilitated. He is not an entrepreneur - he is a conman.

      Sophie never says she approved or disapproved of journalism in Shanghai. She only commented on journalism (as she personally experienced it) in the UK. Personally, I don’t think there is such a thing as journalism in China, it’s more state information sharing! But I didn’t ask Sophie about her views on journalism in Shanghai. Perhaps I should have done.

    According to the video, the learning is that business coaches and consultants should focus on overcoming their anxieties and start planning for success instead. The speaker, Richard Bandler, a co-creator of NLP, argues that spending time worrying about what might go wrong is a waste of time and suggests focusing on creating a plan for success. He says that having a plan will make you feel better because planning creates endorphins and oxytocin, which are neurotransmitters that make you feel good. He also says that if you can think of bad things happening and make yourself feel bad, you can also think of good things happening and make yourself feel good. Here are the key points: Business coaches and consultants often get anxious about starting their own practice. Instead of worrying about what might go wrong, they should focus on planning for success. Planning will create endorphins and oxytocin, which will make you feel good. You can also interrupt negative thoughts by thinking about positive things.

    Whole lotta words, but what does flexible working entail exactly? Think about what you’re asking for… you want the company to slash work requirements for high earning positions even though they have people who are working those positions effectively already??? Why on earth would they do this? If you qualify for the position and you put the work in, you’ll get the position regardless of your gender?? WHATS THE PROBLEM LOL

    • @tricres
      @tricres 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If only that was true. Sadly, many women with caring responsibilities and talent are overlooked in favour of less talented people without caring responsibilities. This means the business loses out. Flexible working can mean anything and is specific to different types of business model. It will vary enormously: examples might be condensed hours, hybrid, a two week working pattern, part time, flexi time etc

    "The failure of ALL psychotherapy!" Haha😂 love it! So true! I wanted to help people with mental health issues after losing my brother to suicide. I started a psychotherapy course and when the tutors were telling us they'd had some clients for 13 to 14 years, I was like "what!!! Clearly this approach doesn't work! Why am I wasting my time." So I quit and enrolled in a hypnotherapy course. Will never look back.

    • @tricres
