Modern movies are continuously disappointing.

It felt sooo long to me. I was really suprised when I checked the actual length, it felt much longer. Saw it as a sneak preview and out of my group one person loved it, one felt "meh!" about it and two (including me) found it aimless. Burton seems to be stuck in a self-quoting loop at this point...

Yeah, I got bored before half movie and after that I was just waiting for something funny with beetlejuice happen but didn’t or maybe not as much as I was expecting

I like a knock at the cabin too. This was horrible though. Great premise horrible execution

Thanks Nigel 😎 I am a big fan of the original. I hated this sequel. It is boring, too many stories that go no where, watered down Beetlejuice, and I wonder when Jeffrey Jones will sue?

The silver lining to this awful movie is how many smaller movie review channels I'm discovering who are doing such a good job tearing this movie apart lol. 100% subscribing, can't wait to see more of you my man.

Terrible movie...

They really need to stop making these remakes. They are killing them in a bad way. Twister movie was okay. They already did a number on TMNT and Transformers which I used to watch in middle and high school. How are you doing today and I was here to check out your movie review?

Thanks sharing your thoughts. I havent seen the film but do the main characters have any positive discernable traits to them? The trailer just makes them seem like a couple of flakes.

In a time when movies are overloaded with "gritty" filmmaking, it would have been nice to get a cool film that's a throwback to "edgy" filmmaking from the 90s and 00s. Better luck next time.

leave the original alone, not everything needs a remake!

I saw it yesterday and felt the same way about the length. The show was dragged down by how much it focused on the main character. I was willing to tolerate how they repeatedly beat me over the head with how brilliant and sensitive and physically brave she is... so long as the plot was moving forward. But it was too much when the film came to a halt so they could spend 20 minutes on her one "flaw:" she didn't believe in herself enough to follow her dreams!

People keep saying that the actors did amazing with just a bad script. But im not sure what movie everyones watching, cuz what i saw looked like a drama school student film with people reading out these lines like theyve never said words before in their life 😂

I loved this movie, But I understand how others didn’t, Also, M. Nights daughter was a chore to watch.

The superhero power seen in the ending is a problem for fans of the game too, but for the opposite reason. We know Lilith is the Siren, because she's introduced as such at the very start of the very first game. The movie version of Lilith feels incomplete without any magic and just using a gun. But they made her power level completely unstoppable even just using firearms, so there's no thrill from seeing her finally gain the powers of the Siren. This movie fails to please _anyone_

I seriously had zero hopes. It feels like a movie that absolutely nobody asked for, lmao. I love the games and just from the trailer alone I was like "nope". And I'm saying that as someone who tries his hardest to not judge a final product by a trailer, LOL. I would have expected a full scale R rating for this too and not holding back too.

You made a good point , even if he had left and skipped the police,they would have found later on cameras. Also, Cooper is stupid,Lady Raven might have not even cared for this stranger guy he was keeping hostage. The worst of Saleka acting was when she pretended his mum. Atrocious.

This movie was a commercial for M. Night's daughters music. I didn't find her music bad but her acting was.

I just watched this movie and really enjoyed it.

I was so pumped for this movie. The trailer looked amazing. Shamalan writes really great concepts for the first 2 acts but most of his movies fall apart in the 3rd act. Nevermind the unnatural dialog

My thoughts exactly. Wtf was the point of this movie? When they show the crime scene pic of the multiple sheets at a playground... I thought he killed his kid's friends or something OR he realizes he didn't do that one and there's a copy cat out there and they are BOTH at the concert. The other one hostages his daughter...anyway. I had so much hope for this premise...it was terrible.

You're right! It would have been a much more impactful movie if the Erich character was replaced with the nurse! He was actually invested in her wellbeing and they had a prior relationship. It would have been heart breaking to see him put himself in danger for her, or her for him at the end. At the end, it felt like she was making a sacrifice for someone that she didn't really know and her cat, which was sad, but not as impactful as it could have been. As it stands, I didn't really care about this movie. It was two strangers trying to navigate this world alone with little to no connection to each other. However, I really enjoyed seeing the cat.

You gotta watch Godzilla Minus One, that was the best Godzilla movie to date hands down! They only had 15 milly for a budget as well which puts Hollywood to shame!

this movie made me miss the performance of Emily Blunt. It made me really appreciate good screen writing and top tier actors.
