Michael's Rabbit Hole!
I love music and grew up in the MTV era, so I LOVE videos too! I am a ridiculous music trivia buff, artist, entrepreneur, collector, sports fan, and more. I love to stay busy and I am a total night owl.

Bassist was Rob Bailey and drummer was Peter Clack. George Young only played bass on "Soul Stripper" and "Love Song (Oh Jene)". This video has Mark Evans on bass and Cliff replaced him before "Powerage".
Amazing artist with over 66 years of recording since his brilliant demo record 'Breathless' recorded on May 25th 1958! I own 100 of his autographs and over 60 by his backing group from the first 10 full years of his career 'The Shadows'. They are AMAZING! Please react to All of Cliff's many, many Rock songs and The Shadows BRILLIANT vocals and instrumentals. THANK YOU!
This is one of the best videos on MTV. I had a father who had popcorn ready when MTV aired. I also remember Tom Petty, Billy Squier, Golden Earring, Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper, Devo, Joe Jackson, the Clash, Adam Ant, SOO many!
This was mid 80’s. Michael had left Doobie Brothers a few years before.
Ian Gillan was the voice of Jesus (singing parts) on Jesus Christ Superstar.
Bon Scott one of the toughest, roughest blokes in Rock dressed like a schoolgirl; - & might have ben the first time Angus wore the schoolboy uniform, and then wore it onwards - historic and iconic clip
Damn I miss the 80s, thanks for this.
You look about as old as me. Who does their drummer remind you of? (another drummer)
Sambora is the man 🔥
Oh, thank you for explaining what a talk- box is coz none of us knew!
Glad it was helpful!
This was Genesis' 1986 North American tour leg at the Exhibition Stadium in Toronto 🇨🇦
Wrong! You need to do your research. Dennis DeYoung was an original member. Do your homework if you want to put your videos out to the public.
I watched this whole concert once on a dead universitary tv channel when i was 12 years old, i can't remember the whole thing, but was awesome. I really like this song, it mix 3 of the things i like most, but the first two i rarely mix, cars, booze and women.
Van Halen’s crying.
Nice reaction, and awesome song, greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
I love this song as well as “I’ll Always Love You”.
Phil Rudd
I used to call this line up Deep Sabbath. Play this back to back with Deep Purple's Highway Star
Rockin that bass line
My fav vocal performance from Michael. Rod Temperton wrote it. The unmistakeable horns from Jerry Hey and co. I read Phillinganes did a lot of the keyboard work with this one.
Tom is outstanding
I saw the original clip of this on my parent's black and white tv and Bon Scott was sitting on the front of stage, legs slightly spread wearing knickers. I kid you not.
RIP Kevin DuBrow. The most underrated vocalist in music history.
When this song got remade along side Safri Duo, it got a whole different vibe, the original is great but the other version is FIRE
Can you please react to Way of The World by Max Q ( Michael Hutchence ) music video reaction Please
I saved over 50 pics of the Elegantly wasted album set shoot .
The model on the album cover of Elegantly wasted and she is in the clips in this video her name is Laura Von Lindholm
Check out Michael Hutchence 2 solo albums. Max Q album from 1989, has 3 music videos Way of the world Sometimes & Monday Night by Satalite. And His 1999 solo self titled album titled Michael Hutchence Has a duet with Bono from U2
You missed all those awesome nuances on Steve Vai solo while staring at Dave messing around in a boxing ring. Steve plays tons of musical talent and ideas and techniques, phrasings and variations here and this is his masterpiece absolutely
I was a little child in the 80s, so i discovered INXS in the 90s with the album "welcome to wathever you are". So my favourit albums are actually "elegantly wasted", "welcome to wathever you are", "Full moon, dirty hearts" and my favourit INXS songs would be : Taste it, Elegantly wasted, the Gift, The strangest party, I'm just a man, Beautiful girl... Don't get me wrong, I love INXS 80s songs too !
PRINCE FEEL!!!?? Not at all
What I am referring to is all of the people on the stage at a George Clinton show, just the same and a Prince show.
I did this a few years back as a Covid time-filler. What I mean by subbed audio is that the band was miming to a prerecorded track on TV, which on the original video, was a muddy VHS recording of the album version of Mean Street. All I did was substitute (subbed) a much higher quality recording of the music over the muddy VHS audio for a better listening experience. Let me know if you have any more questions.
That's awesome!
I graduated hs in 1980 and started hs at a new school. I had been playing an instrument since the 4th grade. When registering to the new school with my mom we had to ask a man for directions to the main office. After he helped us he asked if i played an instrument and my Mom immediately said yes, he looked at Me with excitement and asked what instrument. I Told him trombone and he Looked up as though he had been praised an said , how long, when I told him 5 years he said the only trombone player he had in the freshman band was a 1st Year starter. Come to find out he also ran the a/v department and there were group of rooms tied into a cctv back to the a/v room. There were TVs on carts that we would connect and play educational material on video. The equipment was half inch open real video. VHS cassettes didn’t exist Yet. The whole a/v experience is what gave Me the electronics bug. Our family didn’t have cable tv either and wasn’t even available. But I really Loved The Cars and do to this day. I guess not being able to see them live will always bug me. Sorry it’s so long, but when you talked about the a/v stuff, it brought back memories. check out Ric Ocasek’s solo albums and videos. He put out as many albums as The Cars.
That's amazing! That you for the story! Love it!
Daryl struggled, which is unusual for him. But Tommy rocked… possibly the best version of this song I have heard. The band were awesome and totally with Tommy by the end.
He is an amazing artist/performer. He is now 83 and was still touring, doing concerts up to and including last year. You really should check out some of his stuff from last years concerts. Absolutely amazing!
Missing Jeff, such a big loss. He was so much fun to watch on stage and so good!
I love this concert also. Tom forgot they don’t speak English. Such a great show from Cinderella and all the bands.
I’m so grateful to have seen this band when I was younger. Heartbreak Station UK tour.
I was only 4 during this time.. I missed out on a lot. UGH! 😩. Cinderella is and will ALWAYS be my fav !!
Wade was a 22 year old grown man when he testified and now he come with this bs
Loved it. I love sad songs where people lay it all out there. So pretty and heartfelt. Thanks for the video.
I love this concert
Bon is the most hammered i ever seen him and i love it even more
❤
Their daughter is married to the professional golfer Dustin Johnson.
Love SRV!
I call it Rock n Roll myself
Real music, just listen 🎉
There were three guys that instinctively understood the grooves of Van Halen... Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang. On hot fir teacher its starts with the drums, but why the verse, the groove is set by the guitar not the drums... It's a part of Wolfs DNA from over 10 years of jamming daily with his dad and his uncle... Wolf doesn't play it exactly like Eddie did but his performance has that unmistakable feel the only someone with the last name Van Halen could ever really do.
Awesome song!!! Danced to this at plenty of clubs to this song!
Countdown was all about getting noticed. Bon got noticed. Another time one of them wore a gorilla suit. 🤣 Countdown generally was played to a backing track but live vocals - like this one. Mark Evans was on bass for a couple of years before Cliff came into the band
