Embracing life in the Philippines
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 16 พ.ย. 2019
I am a Filipina, married to a British-Citizen and we have been living in the Philippines for roughly 10 years now. Retiring in the Philippines as a British-Filipina couple, offers a unique blend of cultural richness, affordability, and community warmth. In this channel we will share our experiences living and traveling in the Philippines. Road trip is one of our favorite ways to travel and discover the off-the-beaten-path destinations and hidden gems. Whether it's a remote island, a quaint mountain village, or a lesser-known historical site, these hidden treasures often offer the most memorable experiences for us. Please join us as we embark on our adventures here in the Philippines. We will do our best to share some tips, recommendations, hidden gems to explore, sharing insights into local culture and customs, or offering practical advice for expats, I'm at your service. Feel free to ask me anything, and I'll be happy to assist you along the way!

Craving for lechon...😋😋😋
@Alma88885 Yum!!! Specially the crispy cracklings. 🥰
Woweee, some prices, you mentioned in the beginning, are more expensive than in Canada.. anyway, my second visit to Philippines is I November. I hope I settle as single retiree
Hello. Wow, I did not know. Which prices are more expensive? Welcome back to the Philippines. 😊
Very informative!
Thank you very much. 🥰👍
Hiya, Where's Ken and where is he from, are you going to spend 6 months in England and 6 months in the Philippines or full-time Philippines now 👍
@whitevanman9500, Hello. Ken is from Northampton. Before the pandemic, we used to spend 6 months on the UK in the summer, and 6months in the Philippines in the winter. After the pandemic, we just go to the UK once a year for a month or so. So, we spend more time here in the Philippines. Thank you very much for reaching out. Are you a Brit expat too? 🥰
The KFC meals looked great for a very low price
Indeed. As you can see, the lowest meal price is 85 pesos which is just under $1.50. 😊
@@TineVlog78 that's even cheaper than KFC in Colombia
@@hrollinsnyc Wow! That's amazing! 😲😲
Gutom Ko
Hi Ivan...hahaha! Wait there's more! Next vlog will be food...hahahaha. 🥰😂
KL was our first hangout place way back 2017 ...💪💪❤️
@Alma88885, wow! That sounds like just yesterday. 😊😊
Very good coverage.. If you want to review a really top class restaurant, have a look into Cucina Higala in Capistrano St.. We have been there many times and the food is excellent.. (I think when you mentioned Marks and Spencer for groceries might have been a typo..). ..
@SlimjimMK11, thank you so much for your kind comment, I appreciate it. Been to Cucina Higala several times too... I might do a vlog about it in the near future. We shop in Marks and Spencer for baked beans, juices, cereals, jams, biscuits, wine and some other dry goods, but they don't do fresh food only canned and goods in jars. Thanks again. Have a nice day.
More videos please..😍
Sure, @Alma8885. Thank you. 🥰✈
Could you make a video of you eating at KFC? I would love to see the pictures of the food.
Hello, @hrollinsync. Will do. I will include it in my next vlog, eating in KFC or buying a meal in KFC. Thank you very much for your comment and request. 🥰
I can't imagine being able to eat at KFC for $2. That's awesome 👍
Yes, it is quite affordable here. A meal in KFC is between 2usd-3.50USD. It'll be in my next vlog. 😍😊😊
Hala wow! 🤩
Hi @RenelithBautista. Thank you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

@almalumacad7390, thank you very much. Will do... hopefully will get better too. 🥰😁
Good start...we would like to see you preparing food for your Brit man. Which we all knew you are very good at it.
