I finally found the 2024 Maverick Tremor in Black that I've been looking for!! Was determined NOT to get the 2025 because the have made the Tremor a line above the Lariat...so you get most of the Lariat options that I didn't want..like the added "safety" features!!! Plus the new Tremors start at a ridiculous price above what the Lariat is!

I’ve owned a 23 hybrid and a 24 AWD eco, and in my opinion there are zero improvements offered by getting a 25 Maverick.

I once had to do this cause my master went out on my clutch when I was 35 minutes away from home just have to shift at the right rpm and it’ll float into the gear

Avoid, as much as you can, taking a pillion. Their life is in your hands. Do you want that responsibility? Just think about it. In an accident, if they get hurt, their family will blame you, no matter what happened. They will tell you "you were going too fast!" and "you were not paying enough attention!". Because they will need someone to blame. So think long and hard if you want to allow this as a possibility.

I've ordered a 2025 that is in production this week. Based on my research, the drop in HP is because Ford is adding a gasoline particulate filter (GPF), similar to DPF's that have been on diesel vehicles for years. Also, initially the GPF's will only be added to vehicles delivered in states that follow the stricter California emissions rules (basically west coast and north east states). So my 2025 Maverick being delivered to S.C. will have 250 HP. And I agree with you on climate control, I prefer knobs and buttons over touch screen!

I have a 2024 and really like it. Don't like the 2025, or the higher prices across all trims. Bad move moving a/c controls to the screen.

I think safety features are super cool, there was an accident near my home where someone had a seizure and their car plowed into a concrete pillar. He is no longer with us. just something to consider also they can be turned off individually but to each their own

Biggest thing I'm wanting to wait for on the 2025 is the AWD Hybrid with the 4K towing package

I read somewhere that the 25 XL/XLT will have halogen bulb headlights? Same with the physical climate control delete, these are obvious cost reductions. What less obvious cost reductions dont we know about yet? I suspect the change in stated horsepower is a non-issue. It likely is a testing procedure correction and may not affect real-world performance. We will know the answer soon enough.

I wonder if the decrease in HP\TQ for the 25's is to increase longevity of the drivetrain, especially the transmission. I know I've read the 8F35 paired to the 2.0 EB is already over its rated limits. To me it seems Ford used that trans to save money, not provide longevity. Great opinions in your video. My biggest gripe with the Mav is the price. I decided to walk away from my 24 when it came in as ford had already raised the price since my 22 they sold from under me ( whole other issue I have with Ford) and wouldn't do anything to help. Add on another $2k+ for the 25's and it's no longer attractive to me. Cool little trucks, but still a super cheap truck under its skin.

The big change is with the hybrids. You can now get the hybrid with AWD and 4k tow package. I have a 22 xlt hybrid and have a 25 xlt hybrid on order! I will be trading in my 22.

or just not buy a ford and be better off!

I used to do the same school and back in uk. I live in AZ now still gets cold in winter but I think around 35 now over night lows not trying to hit that ice and my hands can’t take it, I’m 45 now. Some days tho I’d love to jump in the car but also need a mental break so I suffer the cold
