i sold it . terrible product . you cant find nice loops and to make your selfe is extremely complex the internal loops are horrible shit
I have the best luck with it working via the computer interface. Creating samples in a DAW is easier than on the unit, and the samples can then be copied to the interface easily.
@@AvocationMusic hi .. i know but i try to make loops in my daw but never worked as loops the is a;lways a little pause at the begginning /end of te loop.
I know you sold it but someone else might read this thread. To prevent the delays in the loops, after I copy the loop from the computer to the multiple, I edit the start and end of the loop on the multipad and truncate the initial and ending silences.

For that song I used the stock 0824 HH ProcElec04 CL patch for the closed hi hat and 0819 for the open. The closed pedal was set for fade in at 25% and decay at 75%. Trigger type is OneShot and set for Poly. Play type template is Hi-Hat.

Landr or Sample Focus are good places to look. If you have Novation equipment like Launchpad then the Novation Music site has some good samples. weraveyou.com/tech/best-free-music-samples-2023/ shows a list of other sites with samples.

For this song, the sounds on the SPD-SX Pro are only the percussion one shots. For the repeating musical patterns, I used arpeggiator patches from Synthmaster One. Synthmaster is a great software plug in for your DAW, and it's not very expensive. I saw that you commented on my other video, and I did use loops for that one, so I'll answer that one over at that comment. Thanks for watching and good luck with your projects!

For this song, I used loops from the Vaporwave set from Novation's Soundpacks series. I have some Novation hardware, so I'm not sure if you need to have something from Novation in order to get the Soundpacks. MusicRadar also has loops available for free if you want to experiment with those. Good luck!

You need to get a stereo splitter cable that you can plug into the line that has two mono outs.

For some reason I can get my PDX - 8 to use two separate sounds. My PD8 does it perfect fine!
can the SPD-SX Pro create live loops while playing as the Alesis Strike multi pad does or it can only play pre recorded loops?
Yes you can create live loops with the wave sampling function.

The hi hat control is not continuous on the SPD-SX Pro. It’s on/off. It works pretty well within that limitation, though. You can adjust the point at which the pedal switches the sound from closed to open, for example.
