I am currently developing a light weight paramotor design for paracamping. The design is used to teach 3D CAD using Onshape and 3D printing. The focus is to create a paramotor that is light weight, easy to break down and transport by hiking or packrafting.

Awesome fly The glider you are using is homemade?
What kind of packraft is that?
@@texanalphalegionare it’s a Chinese knock off of the Barracuda R2 Pro.
Where can we find your project to print?
@@rickmotovlog9091 The plans are on Amazon.

Приветствую. Какой расход топлива в час у этого мотора если режим пол газа?
DLE RC engine has been used by Chinese paramotor flyers back in 2015. It works but 170 is under powered when pilot weighs over 75kgs. 222 is more powerful and suits most people. Without electric start it is same weight as electric start DLE170M. Light weight, economical and not bad thrust.
飞行场地太好了👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome!
Awesome
Good decision to go land. Doesn’t take much wind to be flying backwards, u wouldn’t want to try landing a motor running backwards. Nice kiting.
Can you share your contact details
Hello sir
Rebel scum!! Looks like fun 😁
this is random but im looking to get a starter for my dle 170 for an rc airplane. Do you have any info on where you got the mounting plate and gear? i seen the relay you listed but i need everything. any chance you can point me in the right direction please
Hello sir i watch your many videos i am big fan of your work can you share your contact details please
It’s missing 4 spacers one on each engine mount
Thanks for the video! I fly a Tensing 23 and an Atom80 with a 140cm prop. Great combination for me! Cheers! Bill
Sounds still like DLE170 but deeper. Doubt that your gasket will last. Hope you use some gasket sealer. Eg. SI 569 on Metal part before placing gasket.
Can you show where the wires run to the battery cuz I just bought an AliExpress paramotor and my wires are cut and I put a video on my TH-cam channel
Hi mate, may you be available to share some knowledge on this engine applied to ppg?
This video motivated me to build my own paramotor
Yes. Put your life in risk for using cheap chinese crap.
Wings size which m2?
23 m2
Enjoyed your flight. I’m curious about the weight of you Open/Atom set up? Dry weight no gas?
Weird how everyone who uses paramoters is an attention seeking loser.
Sick, nice one, I am still deciding over an Atom or a Moster, but this Atom looks like it does the job...
The electronic ignition has a voltage range from 7.4 to 14V on the newer DLE170M lower on others. 😮the battery your using is 22V - don’t you need a converter for that?
How did you like the classic frame?
Loved it.
This is sick man!! You definitely gpt a new sub!!
Nice broman! Very nice and thank you for sharing your cool wind cruiser dude‼️😊
Thanks for the video! I'm 182lbs, and my OpenPPG SP140 V2 Atom80 gets me off the ground with no problem. It is perfect for me. Bill
I broke mine in and flew it today. I am 180#, and this machine has more than enough power! On low wind days, I will fly my 26M Independence Grasshopper.👍 This is a great machine....so much fun to fly. With 2 gallons, I can fly for hours!! Bill
Awesome! Glad to hear you enjoy the paramotor and are up and flying!
looking forward to see this on Amazon
Working on it now. I need to make a few more revisions. The book with plans should be ready by March. I’ll make a video and upload it to the Modular play list as soon as to book is ready.
Nice
Awesome video, Sideline view of the beach looked like from a movie
Nice result! congratulations!
I should be able to fit the Atom 80 and the moster 185 engine on this frame. I used the Top 80 for the first flight.
Thanks for the video...this is one unit I am considering as well as the electric version. Do you have the weight of the ICE unit by any chance after the assembly? Thanks again.
Beautiful Machine !
The ParaJet is Better!
In the Florida Panhandle where I fly most of the time, doing "Crazy Ivans" is a regular part of my flights. The military traffic can become heavy. Also, if you see something going one way, there's a good chance he'll be going the other way later. Strobes are a good idea too.👍 Thanks for the video! Bill
I agree.
Its very interesting how single surface wings have caught on in the PPG world when they were initially designed for hike and fly. Their ease of launch and quick take off seem to be the pluses? Nice video, thanks.
Thanks for the video! I have almost finished putting my OpenPPG V2 SP140 Atom80 together....just waiting on my Motul800 and temperature gauge. I'll be heading to the FL Panhandle soon to try it out. Looking forward to long XC flights! What wing do you have....is that an Independence Tensing? Thanks! Bill
Yep, I’ve got an Independence Tensing 23 m and a Airdesign UFO Bi Tandem. The UFO is more of a Hybrid
@@TexasParasurvival I have a 26M Grasshopper that I love...but was considering adding a Tensing since it is a couple of pounds lighter. I'm 67, and the lighter the wing, the easier the reverse launch is in very low wind.👍👍
@@10661956 you’ll love the Tensing. It’s very stable. It’s one of my all time favorite gliders.
Love your video! If you ever have interest in joining up for a paramotor packrafting adventure I have been looking to find interested pilots. I wrote a small article in the USPPA Paramotor Pilot magazine #5 searching for interested paramotor-packrafting pilots. Really cool to see what you are doing. Keep posting your adventures! Are the spares and hoop aluminum or CF?
Spars are carbon, the hoop segments are aluminum.
The noise is insane. You are going to become dumb?
Nice, the still is impressive. I liked the instant pop up tent too.
Oh gosh! How many paramotors do you have now?
I buy and sell paramotors so I can try them out. lol. I’m trying to find the perfect one to combine with Packrafting and Paracamping.
@@TexasParasurvival Now it makes sense! I have 3 paramotors, and it's so much!
Hey man, nice videos. Curious what your motivation is for building this rig? It seemed you had a good setup in previous videos.
I’m experimenting. I’m trying to find the perfect set up to fit inside my packraft. The KANGOOK is great, but I can’t fit the cage inside the raft.
Kibbutz, we are ready
Where are you on NPI? I’m up in Calallen for the holidays and hope to do some flying.
I normally fly on Mustang Island. I’m planning a trip out to San Jose Island on Wednesday and Thursday of this week if the forecast holds.
is there another name for those fuel line connectors? where can i find them?
1/4 to 1/8 brass fuel line connections
