Thrifting is such a fine line for me. Oh how I love it. It's so therapeutic and so addictive! I practice self discipline and then give in and enjoy the ride! I give myself grace and freedom, I don't want to envy or covet what others have. But oh boy aren't we attracted to pretty things and it's so lovely to learn from others creativity! I have so many beautiful pieces, so what I really need to do is shop my closet and put more outfits together. That's so fun too! I find pieces I forgot about! Me too! When I watch BJones Style, I want to go thrifting. Recently, I found myself stressed and I do go thrifting, and I do feel better. I am, however, very selective on what I bring home. I have been getting rid of a lot lately too and they give me a 20 percent off coupon to spend ugh...lol I love your chickens, and I see how confident they are strutting around your yard with their beautiful feathers. NM weather is the best!

Im really glad and grateful that you started this channel! Thank you for following you intuition to do it. I find this concept very interesting and absolutely love this idea! And the fact that maybe, just maybe i myself will have a place to come and learn and visit. I too am on a healing journey, but love clothes and the beautiful avenue of expression that they allow me! I love to sew and create my own wearable art. It is freeing, therapeutic and joyful! I would love to share, but im in Oklahoma. I also could use a really great therapist 😂 no joke. Love those overalls on you though I'd consider it more of a denim jumpsuit but that's just me: they look too nice to be called overalls, lol. However, you totally own them and they look to be at one with you. In fact all of your outfits are so perfect on you like they meld with your coloring, your face, hair, shape, vibe, everything. You are a Master at personal style. I do enjoy your videos and your take on style and it's impact on our daily wellbeing. Not everyone pays attention to it like I think the archetypical Artist certainly does but even other ''types'' from opposite ends of the personality spectrum like/enjoy clothes/styling/great outfits. I mean I've seen that first hand plenty of times (starting with my construction worker father who knew how to pull off a suit and fedora to my engineer husband who loved rocking a pair of braces or elegant monk straps). Memories. Well, anyway, I'll have to thrift her book and read it as I've heard a lot of people talking about it along with you. I've read a lot of style books and my favorite was probably ''Simple Isn't Easy: Finding your personal style.....'' by Olivia Goldsmith and Amy Fine Collins. It's from the 90's (yeah, I'm that old : ) but it was so helpful for me to develop my look. I might want to re-read it as I'm in a different season in life and it's useful or even necessary to re-visit one's look at least every decade and that could involve adjusting and or fine tuning personal style to some extent. Ok enough rambling. Thank you for another inspiring video! I'll go edit my closet now.

I like dresses but they don’t suit me so I don’t have any. I love skirts and wear long and midi skirts. I like especially long cotton Skirts that are made in India. I live in a hot climate and these skirts are comfortable and look nice.

I love dresses and skirts and you have a great collection. I usually hit up the dress and skirt section first thing when I thrift. Saver's is asking way too much for dresses. Every once in awhile they will price one reasonably and if I like it enough it comes home with me but that is rare these days.

I like to wear my husband's Castelli jerseys, and he has a wool vintage one that gets huge compliments. ia ctually bought that for him on Ebay. He a t-shirt that he passed down to me with a race from Italy and I get asked if I did that race. 😂 I just like the look and it feels special to wear garments from my husband.
