Ive never been a fan of this "departure time" nonsense, I work remote and already have enough to worry about without having to worry about my Prius having its own schedule.🙄 I am actually coming from a real EV (Spark EV). That car unfortunately had no way to stop charging at 60 to 80%, so I purchased an OpenEVSE to do a timed charge and guesstimated how much time in 15-30 increments to get to 80% SOC. I've gotten very accurate in my guesstimates but still would preffer more modern functionality. Suffering from the 18kWh range anxiety of the Spark EV, I decided I wanted a hybrid that also had Toyota reliability (though my Spark EV has been 100% reliable for 7 years so far) and would have zero cabin heating issues due to being able to use the simplicity of a combustion engines radiator for heat transfer to the cabin/dashboard. Like the Spark EV, does the 2017 Prius Prime have no way to automatically stop at 70, 80 or, 90% SOC? I've not had the time to read those excessively detailed and lengthy manuals in the glove box.
