Gilas Holmes! Dude, great video! Gilroy is my hometown! I worked in real estate for like 3 months in 2006 when i was in between tech jobs. Only made a couple transactions but was working with my high school buddy Ryan Mull at Century 21 (him and his wife now own and run the Reality Society in DT.. He"s a great guy and awesome broker) You forgot to mention our Outlet centerr! Over 145 brand name stores!

The biggest con is the house prices... more than $1M to live in a crappy crime ridden place, no thank you. I've been renting here for 5 years and it is just getting worse. Scotts Valley is prettier, closer to the city, and prices are MUCH more reasonable. Oh yeah, there have been A LOT of gang related shootings at Gilroy HS since 2019, so don't trust this guy. He just wants to make $50k on a home sale.

I wasn't too happy when I seen this video because our town has changed and grown sooo much, but I have to admit, these are true, except the small town feel. Growing up here, everyone knew everyone. Now, when we go anywhere in Gilroy and it's just packed with people. My grandparents have been here since they were teenagers and raised their family here. Most of us are still here.

My Grandpa arrived in San Jose in 1962 from Mexico...moved to Gilroy a few years later..my parents grew up there, I was born and raised there...I have many Great memories from gilroy garlic festival, Christmas hill park, Del brouno school, many friends, Sadly I had to leave due to my career I am now in the Oil and Gas industry in Odessa Texas..But I will never forget my child hood hometown...

I spent one week in Gilroy twenty years ago and I still miss that place. Everyone was so nice, and everything was great.
