What do you mean do you think I should keep it? It was already out of the water and dead. Horrible fishing etiquette, bad fishermen. Buncha fishheads ruining fishing once again.😂 good vid
Hi ! Where that spot ..!
Awesome video bro! Slaying it
Is there trout in the lagoon
unfortunately no
They love the garlic smell, Spiderman to the rescue !
Nice fish man, is the road open to west ramp now?
They just opened yesterday!
Hey boss! What are you using? Thanks in advance!
Pale green garlic power bait, rainbow color spoon, shad color hook up baits, and white power worms
What ramp are you at? Not dam?
West ramp.
@wackymaverick7123 can you drive there or you have to walk? Is it open?
nice video, making me wanna get out there!
i take it your harvesting those fish.. if your intention was to release your going to kill them with your methods.
Just went out there yesterday and got skunked. The water was dirty from the rain the past two days, but looking forward to the next trip. Was going for bass
Couldn’t see any of those rocks in the water. Visability was 12”
What day did you head out there? Loved the vid!! 🔥
Cool logo bud. Nice work on the video and those trout. I just subscribed to your channel. Tight lines and good luck out there this year.
enjoyed the video! where you you guys fishing? to the right of the docks?
I THINK LEFT SIDE OF WEST LAUNCH RAMP.
Hi dad 😃😃😃😃
I’m going there today lol❤
Hey. Just wondering what trip this is? Enjoyed the vid
What's the capacity line on that reel
That sucks man. At least you didn't do anything wrong. One more circle and they would have had it.
Hi what type of jigging rod is that? Awesome how you’re able to toss those big bonitas on the deck!
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. It’s a shimano grappler LJ med heavy. It’s a light jigging rod. I really shouldn’t be using bouncing fish into the boat with the light jig rod as it could snap the rod. But I guess I’m just dumb 😂 I was also using a freshwater bass rod it’s a irod genesis
Damn i felt that pain there at the end. Wayy too many lines tangled there caused the loss. Let me know if you wanna link up this next run, i haven't fished for tuna since 2011. The last video i did i took my gf out for her first time on a sportfishing trip, she said she needs to condition for tuna lol.
Where is that boat out of
in the title, pierpoint landing
You’re supposed to revive the fish before you release it that’s why the fish flipped over and could’ve died
What weight coltsniper would you recommend here bud?
Hey thanks for watching my video. I was using 60g. I also was casting it as a surface iron too and have caught barracudas and calicos.
Heart break at the end tangles ain’t no fun
Nice vid. New subscriber keep it up
Thank you so much!
Buenas capturas bro saludos
Gracias!
I do everything I can to not let the fish hit the ground. So much harm can happen and effect the fish. The water level there is alot lower since I've been there. Overall, good day fishing.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll try to do that practice next time.
I'll give you a comment just because I saw you got happy at the other one. I have some good spots to make videos. Do you like salt water too? I see all these you tubers making tons of $$ doing this and I want to start but don't know how. I do have lots of cool srcret spots where I catch fish though. I have a ocean spot where I catch 30 to 40 sometimes. I prefer bass fishing though. Only fished castaic twice and did well drop shot and live crawdads
thanks for the comment! I know My videos are lame lol. I don’t really take it seriously but it’s something I do enjoy.
Fishing is so much fun... When you get big fish, it makes you want to keep fishing... Greetings from Indonesian anglers🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Thanks for the comment. This was my first pelagic fish!
Hey thanks for the comment. I’m using size 6 mosquito hook and 1/4 oz dropshot weight
Hi, What avet reel are you using for the bluefin tuna?
Hi this was the JX Mc raptor. Spooled with 65lbs of line
@@wackymaverick Hey do you ever have group meets for fishing? If you do , let me know , I would like to meet up to learn more on fishing , Thanks , Ed,
What weight for dropshot Nd hook size you recommend for you're subscribers
The bluegills is very good to eat…👍🤜
Is bluegills brother!!!
Ahh yes thank you! I learn!
New sub ! Liked 👍🤩😁
Thank you!
There were no stripers in there when I used to fish there in the 1980s. Just giant bass. Stripers got in there from pyramid around 1990-1992 ish
There are a million striped bass in Castaic lake
Live night crawlers. In flated
Nice !! I miss that lake.
Nice fish bro 👌
I'm actually headed to castaic this weekend with my son... Any advice or tips on spots???. It's the first time there
Castaic lake has 2 lakes. The lower and the upper. The lower lake, I think, is a little tougher to fish than the upper. At the the upper main ramp, you can fish along the dam (the right side) or go to the right side and walk along the trails. I try to find points and fish there. Dropshot or Carolina rigs on plastic worms or night crawlers are most effective. Ned rigs are good too. Castaic lake can also be very windy and the water levels are quite low as well. They stocked supposedly 4,000lb of trout a week ago and guys have been catching trout along the dock at the main ramp using mini jigs and dropshot
Thanks for the add! Happy to check out your videos!
Nice catch hope you make more video I enjoying the.
Good stuff! Was that rage craw on an unpegged Texas rig?
Unpegged
@@wackymaverick nice! I’m headed out there tomorrow but have little experience with the lake. Any pointers you can offer?
@@fightmilk8613 the lower lake can be pretty difficult to fish as the bass are very finicky. At the upper lake “main ramp” people have been catching bass (large mouth, small mouth, striper) along the damn. And if you are to fish at the west ramp, find to find points and rock covers. Drop shot rigs on roboworm (ox blood or morning dawn), keitech shiner 2 inch works majority of the time. But also weightless senko on a wacky rig works too. I’ve also caught using an underspin rig
@@wackymaverick thanks for the tips!
@@wackymaverick i had luck with a weightless whacky rigged orange pumpkin senko. Thanks!
😍😍
Nice video and keep it up keep grinding never give up
Thank you!
Nice Video. Sadly, we were fishing on the opposite bank catching absolutely NO fish. You have that spot dialed in.
Thanks! But idk about being dialed in. More like luck lol. I saw you guys there and met your friend mark!
@@wackymaverick Luck! Nah, your approach to the lake is spot on. Thanks for sharing your lures and techniques !!
Great video buddy I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! I just uploaded a catfishing video as well. I'd love to know what you think!
