They butchered Lilith. She ain't dumb nor weak. Her main weaknesses were her IMPULSIVENESS, UNREGULATED EMOTIONS and ERIDIUM ADDICTION. She technically got Rolland killed, but with the bridges deactivated Rolland and the BL2 vaulters would have died in control core angel with Angel still the catalyst and Jack with a charged vault key without opposition. Jack literally outplayed us in every conceivable way. Either we die in the control core, Angel keeps charging the key and we die to the warrior or Angel dies and Jack subs her out for Lilith. He literally couldn't lose. The deleted scene in the "director's cut" showed Lilith learning from her mistake and survivors guilt. She ain't some weak idiot. She's a young woman becoming the wise and strong leader and siren she needs to be.
