Loftus Road by Worthing Model Railway Club. Inspired by Kensington Olympia in West London, this 4mm:1ft model railway features a wide range of passenger & freight traffic and recreates modern-day suburban London. Find out more about the layout at www.worthingmrc.co.uk or on RMWeb at www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/69628-loftus-road-by-worthing-mrc/
where can this layout be seen this year?
We need more Loftus road!
We will be out on the road again on the 1st and 2nd October 2022 at our Worthing Show - hopefully, someone will post further footage showing what the LR crew have acquired since our last outing at Basingstoke in March 2020.
Great video, very nice layout.
Realy good channel. I subscribe now. 👍😀
One of the very best layouts on TH-cam!
Nice clip, still though, seeing a Deltic in that colour with those lights was a terrible sight! Pleased that it has since been rectified!
Is that Peters 450
Yes Andrew, it is 👍😁
@@loftusroadmodelrailwaywort3511 I love the layout, the attention to detail is amazing. You should have turned on the sound and interior lights
Kensington Olympia ,did you base it on that station I live in Hammersmith just down the road ,great layout👍🏻
It is loosely based on Kenny O!
Where did you get the Class 377 from
The Electrostars were made by one of the LR team. Cut and shut Bachmann class 170s with resin-moulded cab ends available on a well-know auction website.
One of the best layouts on TH-cam..I'm lucky enough to have seen it at Warley...very impressive in the flesh
I love videos like these
I am a Silverlink / London Midland ( / now London North Western ) Driver and i drive 150's and 350's, this layout really captures the era well, there are so many details that are just right, well done Worthing MRC.
this model looks like Kensington Olympia station
That's. because it is
Great to have that confirmed as I was thinking the same.
It's not...
The title says loftus road...
@@alfietheg4m3r-robloxmore14 It is loosely modelled on Kenny O. We called it Loftus Road because it is one of the streets near to the location. If we had called it Kensington Olympia, people viewing it would have expected us to model that location inch perfectly, hence the change of name and the approximate translation of the Kenny O site...
I love the class 379
or 377 they're so similar
It is amazing
Stunning layout. Except the ‘2 meals for £5’ got me thinking about how prices have risen! 🙃 Congratulations on this work.
Yep, that's one of the problems of taking real adverts and using those as the basis for modelling a scene - trapped by time!
One of the best layouts I've seen, please feel free to follow me
Great Video
