When I read these books, I remember thinking Calis was the man, but listening to the first part, I'm thinking why did I want to have a bromance with him. Now listening to part 2 of 2 my love for the character came back.

These are masterpieces. I like how it all fits together.

I wonder why this playlist starts with riftwar saga then skips over Prince of the Blood and Buccaneer to here? Those are two great books in the series

its so weird, that's now how I would have pronounced Katala or Arutha.

I really like the way she pronounces the word “honour”; it gives it a gravitas that emphasises the overriding quasi religious context of that particular culture.

Have you skipped the prince of the blood trilogy.? I checked your playlist and don't see it?

There is none of the magic were the diversity of creatures normally found in fantasy or the other Raymond Feist books I've read. So far this is mostly about political intrigue among great houses. I did not think I would stay interested I'm 12 hours in and still hooked!

Tx, much appreciated & echo all the comments complimenting the author, narrator & yt channel poster. Also, there was a tv sit com in like the early 80’s called Taxi with a great character named Jim (same actor played prof in Back to the Future.) Anyway, the voice uses for Kioke (sp?) in this is very close to Jim’s I think. Makes me smile.
