I’m wondering why didn’t you ask for the hospital that you were working at to pay for schooling and commit to working for them for 2-3 years. As a result, one would not stress about paying for CRNA since they will cover everything for you. I will start nursing school in January of 2025, and I’m planning to go into CRNA school next because I can’t imagine being a bedside nurse for a long time. I’m wondering is it better to do one year ICU nurse and apply for CRNA school or do two years of it and I will have a lot more options to applying to schools for CRNA? Also, how long did it take you to save $100,000 that is a big factor. As a future nurse graduate I can not do travel nursing immediately because I need at least 1 year of experience to do it. What would you recommend?

What where you scoring on APEX Mocks? They are hard, while taking them I feel I know the material and then I get the wrong answer 😢

With that type of salary I would just work as much as possible, live in a van and invest everything. I would retire happily in 10 years and never have to do anything I don't want to do ever again.

You don't need an agency. Just call the place you want to go and tell them your travel and want to do a contact with them. The only difference is you have to buy your own scrubs without an agency. We did this because Aya never posts any places we actually want to go. We just got back from Jackson Hole Wyoming. Yep, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone....Aya doesn't have cool places like that.

Having a requirement to remain in a program is absolutely brutal. My program doesnt require a score like that just remediation if you get below a certain score. I feel like one of the reasons i did so well (450) was because there wasnt a chance it was going to ruin my life lol.
