Great video Aaron, probably the easiest to follow that I've seen. It still seems way to counterintuitive to me. What it does have is that you can add sub sections, Supernote is missing that function. A question I have is whether it is contextually aware? Since you tag a page, does it automatically update if you add pages? Also, I do one note at a time and basically my Supernote Headings become valuable when I combine notebooks as a archive at the end of the year. When I combine the notebooks, the TOC is automatically generated. Again, great video.

Fyi, that version 4.0 up date is not open to the public. It's part of the beta program. Not everyone will be using beta versions.

Thanks. It's a very clear and useful video to understand how to use this new feature. I purchased the Boox Go 10.3 two weeks ago and I don't have the 4.0 firmware because I'm waiting for the final version to be available and I prefer not to download the Beta version. Do you have the Beta version or is the final version already available in your country? I've never used the Supernote even though I've seen many videos. The Supernote index is better made, but it is not possible to create sub-outlines.

Keep these tutorials coming! I've scoured youtube for basic tutorials for a new e-ink notebook user (namely: me), and this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this great walk through on the notes. I found the manual no good at all because if you don't know how to use the device you can't get to reading it properly. Working on mine, and pausing quite a few times I have been able to link notes. I want to create a meal plan were each dish of the day can be linked to a recipe. Can I do this linking to a PDF scan? Just subscribed too. I will be a regular visitor to your channel.

Finally, someone shows how to actually use the product rather than an unboxing and how wonderful it is aesthetically! I've had my device for over a month and have really struggled with how to use it best. I personally don't find it intuitive at all, and very clunky. This helped me massively - thank you!

This a great walk through. I use my Supernote in a similar way but just by pulling in documents as PDFs, linking them within notes, and embedding comments. Thanks for throwing this out there.

Thank you so much for this video, it gives me a new perspective on how to leverage my new device. One question as you were going through. @6:42 you didn't change to the lasso tool but instead drew a circle around some text which prompted the "AI/Lasso" tool automatically. The interface on this product is so diverse no one way to use it, but how did you set that up I've been digging in the settings for a while and don't see that anywhere unless its buried or I'm not seeing it. I just subscribed to your channel because of this video. Last question, what stylus/pen are you using? I've been looking to get an alternative one but afraid to ruin my device and I've been trying to search the web to find "safe" pens/stylus's. Thanks again!

So, you are using SN HOM2 pen on Go10.3, how is the feel, also do you care if the pen may scratch the display, or it will not?

I was hoping you would show us how to actually get the customized PDF to show up on the custom tab. Did you transfer the PDF from your computer?

Boox app on iphone does not allow for notes to be edited, i tried binding google drive to boox go 10.3. I only get pdf version but not able to edit. Will there be a way i can edit boox notes on other device?

I like this video. Great to see how someone actually uses this tech on a daily basis. There are lots of reviews but most don’t actually show how they use it. Great workflow demo!!

This is an excellent walkthrough of the Go 10.3. I personally use the Supernote platform, which to me provides the easiest way to set up different scenarios. I use it for personal, academic, and creative outlets. I have often said the Go 10.3 would b ethe closest thing to the A5X or A5X2. I would be interested to know if you are going to get a Supernote to compare Software?

Is the cover made of metal like the Oasis, or plastic with metallic paint?

I bought it recently but I really dislike the ‘ballpoint pen’ feeling it gives when writing. Even if les comfortable to hold, I actually prefer the writing feel from the boox pen. Anyways, great review man.

Appreciate you making this video. I'm considering the go 10.3, but heard the pen isn't the best. Good to know that there are some decent alternatives for the pen on the market. I'm interested to see how the supernote pens work with this device cause they have those harder ceramic nibs. Cheers

What i love is the Scribe. What I hate is how ‘in your face’ the Kindle Store is. I should be able to turn it off for meetings or school

You made some good points. I recently got a refurbished Kindle Scribe. I had looked at the Remarkable, Pen Star, and Boox. The price point is what made me take a closer look at the Scribe. As you pointed out, entry level price is also a selling point for someone that may or may not know what they want or if E Ink is for them. Before the purchase I read a ton of reviews and watched a ton of videos so I knew the pros / cons before making the purchase. One of the things that I appreciate about it is the black/white screen because it helps me to decompress from all the color screens that I look at all day.

I've got a scribe, a boox note 4c and a supernote. To be honest I find the scribe to be a little bit mickey mouse. If you are looking for a good system and money is no object then the Supernote A5x2 would be a solid choice. If that is a bit expensive then the boox go 10.3 has a good reputation. The penstar is probably good but I would be concerned about the company as they are new to the market. At least with supernote or boox you can have a little more confidence as they have been around for a good few years
