IF is connected to the grid you would need a smart meter like Eastron Meter (3ph) and set the export to zero. Meaning that will export zero power to the grid and you will be still able to use the grid as a backup or when not enough power from the PV or battery.

Off course it’s possible by just making it bigger. You lose individual panel level monitoring as this solution starts to be already something between a microinverter and central inverter 😂

Using the Disconnect Tool is simple. To disconnect a cable termination, insert the tool into the connector until you feel a click. This indicates that the tool is properly engaged with the connector. Yes, Solis hybrid inverters (not all, but this one yes) can work off the grid, though a true off-grid solar PV architecture normally would require a string inverter or charger controller on the PV end and a proper battery inverter (ex. SMA Sunny Island, Victron Multiplus, Victon Quattro, etc, etc) on the battery side. A hybrid inverter is always something between a horse and a donkey. If you understand what I mean.

I am not getting it. For AC connection you have a special tool from Enphase. It is called Q cable disconnector tool. On the DC side you do not need anything special.

Of course, since acts as a galvanic disconnection device. It is designed for single phase use and has built in contactors. During specified grid abnormalities, the Q Relay disconnects the Enphase Microinverters from the AC grid, and when the voltages return to normal and the grid frequency is in the acceptable range, the Q Relay reconnects the microinverters to the AC grid. The Q Relay has built in current sensing that can detect DC current injection required by VDE V 0126-1-1 requirements. The Q Relay works together with the Envoy-S to meet the need to break both line and neutral per grid requirements. Your loads are always to be connected to a separate protected board which connects to the AC side of the inverter. Both in grid tie and off-grid architecture, but please read through the Manual.

As to any other battery compatible with Solis! No magic with your battery either. It is on the compatibility list of Solis, therefore should work as just fine.

IF export set to Export Zero, than obviously not. Otherwise yes, you can program your inverter, actually your smart meter connected to it to handle power needs as you mentioned.

Nothing, since normally the Deye Microinverter comes with the power connection cable. With that you basically, just simply extend your existing system. Same as with Enphase (at Enphase cables - Q cable - must be purchased separately) or as with all the other architecture with a microinverter.
