Customer service isn't a good enough reason to dismiss the actual science behind CRI . I personally had a good experience with them. I wanted the results from their methodology.

I'm looking for a recliner that's going to be comfy like my old one. blue, with soft chenille. and oh my gosh, if you get a recliner, get a chenille recliner. so soft. corduroy soft. the pandemic gave me bad P.T.S.D. I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, I lost loved ones to Covid19, an uncle of mine I was close to almost 2 and a half years ago, passed away. i'm looking for a safe space, a recliner to curl up in. If you want to know what my old recliner looked like, let me describe it to you. and my goodness, it was love at first sight in my chair. so my chair had beautiful soft chenille fabric, clean vertical lines going over the back of the chair, the cushion, and foot rest. and the horizontal lines were on the arms of the chair as well as the sides of it. so comfortable. i will post a recliner update on this channel i am commenting on. the channel i'm commenting to you from is a music based channel. but i will post a recliner review on that same channel. a chair for my back. i'm in my mid 30s and looking for something i can put next to my queen size bed, something i can call my cuddle space. next after my dad helps me get a la-z-boy recliner, a classic old school one, not a power one, but an old school one, next thing i will get after i get my chair is a weighted blanket and that's going to put me in paradise as i'm on cloud 9 in my new chair. will wait maybe until fall 2024 to get my recliner, possibly maybe before my 34th birthday on december 14 this year. wish me luck and please pray that la-z-boy will have a similar recliner in stock like my old 16 year old recliner. found one i love while I was looking at la-z-boy manual recliners online a few weeks ago. A classic recliner with a wooden handle. No power motorized recliner, none of that modern stuff. Just an old school recliner that’s padded, is so soft to the touch and a chair that I can sleep in if I just want to move from my bed to the chair since they’ll be sitting next to each other in my room. Taking the end table out of my room and replacing it with my chair. Also I am not getting a leather one cause leather sucks, and I don’t need a chair to sit in during the summer that’s made of leather and I’m sweating myself like crazy. Nice thing about chenille is that the beautiful soft clean lines keeps the chair warm too. Isn’t that so cool? Let me know if you ever sat in a recliner that’s so soft, chenille soft to the point where you refuse to not let anyone take over your spot except you. Lol. it's a gibson rocking manual la-z-boy recliner, the chair I came across a few weeks back. so soft. If you get a chair, get a la-z-boy. and don't worry i am not telling my mom i'm getting my chair cause she'll be jealous haha. my folks over here want ashley furniture, but for me, for my own man cave, my room, i'm getting a la-z-boy, a chair i can snuggle up in, a chair that can be placed next to my bed. will try to find a blue one, but if my local la-z-boy store doesn't have the blue recliner, the gibson model, i'm going to get their canyon denver brown color it's soft too like the blue one. chenille, heck yes, that's my material. reminds me of my grandpa's 29 year old chair and a half he got at montgomery ward back in the mid 90s. remember montgomery ward? and oh my god, that chair my grandpa had, it was a wall recliner, but my god, it smelled like a furniture store. comfy though. could fit 2 people in it. nice beautiful chenille fabric all over the chair. so so soft too. when my mom's youngest half sister whose the same age as me, when my aunt and i were kids 26 years ago, we'd stay at my grandpa's house, her dad's house that is, and my autn and i cuddle in his chair. so comfortable. i felt like i was in the clouds. and i don't blame you for not buying things from ashley. ashley is garbage. can't wait to get my la-z-boy gibson recliner. please, pray that la-z-boy has my blue chenille manual recliner. if you want the measurements, i'm getting a recliner like my old one, it's 44 inches wide, 43 inches tall, and 40 inches deep as the seat is concerned. my goodness, the pillowed arms, the biscuit style back, and that plush seat. keep me in your prayers that i find the right chair. finding my dream recliner like my old one my uncle threw out, is like me finding that beautiful blond a girl whose the same age as me. lol. and sitting in a la-z-boy, if you sat in one that has that chenille material, it's like you're being cuddled to sleep. being held. it's fantastic. it's a chair i will call my safe haven when it's put it in my room, set up next to my bed, a chair i can sit and play my guitars and film videos. wish me luck and god bless you.

My parents have 2 17 year old Ashley sofas in our front room, and now, they are no good. the loveseat is fine. but the bigger leather couch. the cushions are sagging. I slept on the big couch for a year and a half so I can give up my bed for my awesome step-grandmother who is amazing. Don't know where my folks got their 12 year old recliner, pretty sure at ashley furniture and not la-z-boy. that chair sucks too. Now when you sit in it, it clunks. chair doesn't lean back when you sit in it. is it comfy? yeah. another complaint about the chair, tears in the leather. the edge of the seat where the back of your legs are placed over, there are major tears in the leather due to my 2 family puppies that jump up on the chair. i don't sit in that chair. i use to back in 2012. but not any more. it's called, grandpa's chair, cause my step-grandfather, use to sit in that chair when he'd come stay with my folks and me. i use to have a beautiful blue soft la-z-boy recliner, and oh my goodness, i loved it. it was passed down from my grandma, to her son, in 2012. but 8 years later in 2020 during covid, my uncle threw it away in the dumpster cause his neece and nephews on his wife's side of the family broke my precious blue recliner. planning on getting a la-z-boy. i asked my biological father to help me get one, and he's going to help me get one. my family's getting ashley furniture soon this year. my step-dad and mom. i'm kinda not interested in ashley. an ashley opened up in my town a few months ago. um, no thank you. but yeah, back to the big couch my folks have, the cushions sag so bad. it squeaks when you sit on it. and my god, my family's leather recliner, the 13 year old beat-up leather recliner that's now ripped up on the cushion of the chair, it squeaks too. i'm definitely getting a la-z-boy. found some that are old school. None of this new school power recliners. old school, i'm talkin' about the manual recliners. my step-grandma and step-grandpa got 2 la-z-boy leather recliners from la-z-boy in my old hometown 11 and a half years ago. i went into la-z-boy in that city with my family to help them buy them. my step-grandma brought hers to her new home last year while her husband's stayed behind at her old house since he accidentally wore it out. leather in both recliners is super thin. but my step-grandma's? i love her chair. comfortable every time i go to her place. i hate sectionals too. hard to get out of them. i gotta to crawl on all fours to crawl over the automan to get off them. ug. i hate them. but yeah, i'm getting my own la-z-boy chair like my old one. a blue recliner with nice padded arms, a plush seat, a rocking recliner with that beautiful soft blue chenille fabric. pretty sure what i'm talking about. found one i love. seriously get a la-z-boy. my step-grandmother's chair is in good shape til this day. i sit in her chair and it feels like she just bought it yesterday. i mean, my family got it for her yesterday. even though that chair and my step-grandpa's la-z-boy were bought back in 2012. hell of a lot better than my mother's ratty old leather recliner that's just terrible. "son go sit on grandpa's chair," my mother says to me as i sit at the kitchen island. "Hell no," is what i want to say. when i get my chair, i'm putting the bitch in my room. she's going to sit next to my queen size bed. and when I want to rock in that chair and feel the chenille fabric touching my skin, as i sit on that couch, i will. family i live with will be jealous but i don't care. i don't, care!!! christmas present i will ask from my father this year, to hlep me get a recliner. la-z-boy. no ashley recliner. nope. a la-z-boy. same exact size of chair like my old blue one that i miss so much. same material. soft blue chenille fabric, and old school classic la-z-boy look. hope this helps to anyone that wants a recliner like the one i'm looking for too.

You notice how no one on TH-cam who post about these companies ever have a negative experience? What are these companies giving them in return for a good review??? I ordered my first mattress and it was a beautiful mattress through serta posturepedic but it was so firm that it was killing me my back and my hips and my legs were painting every day all night long and for some reason I felt like it had a heater on inside the mattress I was waking up with my back sweating but it was all in all a good mattress if you wanted a firm mattress. I slept on beautyrest I ordered a new one and I got to tell you it's the best mattress I ever laid on in my life besides Stearns & foster? Which was like $1,000 and that was a mattress that would make you want to stay in bed for the rest of your life 😂. I exchanged the first mattress and now I own a beautyrest pressure smart 2.0 + pillow top 13.75 in mattress 1400.00 which I was able to get through lease to purchase which they offer through a place called Progressive Leasing. This mattress is very comfortable and I actually can fall asleep Andres comfortably all night long without waking up with a backache. Do yourself a favor if you're out there and you're looking for a new mattress go through lease purchase you'll pay a little more but it's okay it's great because I didn't have excellent credit to actually find it and this mattress is really a wonderful pillow top mattress. But I will say that I had to go to the office of attorney general in Pennsylvania to get them to take me serious because they wanted me to fill out papers to get another loan for even though I kept explaining to them that I was approved for $2,250 and I didn't need to get another loan just to get another order number so I could switch mattresses and have them pick up the first one they gave me and give me this one I have listed above. But in the end I'm 😊.

It’s just CRI goes back 50 generations! So it just shows other areas your ancestors probably lived 1000 years ago when they would migrate. Remember back then which according to google was the year 1022 there were no borders and the countries we know today didn’t exist people just moved around and migrated to certain areas 🙂 just uses a map of what we see today to show what areas they may have lived in.

I had a similar experience, good experience with Ashley furniture many years ago but this last experience has been horrible. I bought a sectional that started falling apart 3 months after I bought it and they delayed dealing with the issue until my 1 year warranty was up and the extended warranty said the store should have dealt with it so they wouldn’t fix it either.

After everything you went though Ashley furniture u have lots of patients this must been frustrating I never had bad experiences purchasing my bed I did in store in 20/20 depending on the staff and their customer service Ashley furniture store

What were your results in comparison to one another cri vs 23 and me? I did test with CRI and i am not sure if they results are accurate and i am feeling bamboozled

I used to work for God Is Dope as a fulfillment worker and they were very unorganized when it came to tracking inventory. They would continue selling shirts that they didn't have. And us the workers, were confused by that. All in all, I had to leave the company because I didn't like their business practices and lack of communication.

@ladykrystal I am so relieved to find that people are starting to make videos on their use of CRI Genetics. But when people do comparison videos then they normally post the actual results. You, babygirl, merely flashed us the information. Let us see with our own two eyes what you are talking about. Put the results on screen and let it stay there so that we can view alongside of you the results as you explain what was wrong with the test. Show us your family history and point out the variances between the DNA test and your family history. You don't have to show us passwords or anything like that. Just the results. Did they give you a timeline? show us what the timeline said. Then do the exact same thing with your 23 and me results. This way in your conclusion you can break down the variances between the actual test results. It's just like doing a book report. If you was to hand this in as a book report then what grade do you expect to get? But just being loaded with information is one thing. You should be a little more entertaining too. Which is why I hired an editor to try and spruce up my video. Fiverr is inexpensive. The more you spend the better your video becomes. I went the cheap route. But with a little more savings I will redo my video and make it more unique. Why not give it a try?

I work in the customer service line and I'm not even in the USA, confirm all you're experience cause EVERYDAY we have calls about delays for even 5 months and is incredible how the store after the purchase never take care about the customer or the items, they promise specifics days and if the items are in BO cause still in manufacturing process, the customer is totally like "whats going on", we in the customer service dont have any way to contact the stores, the dc or the manuf, is insane how this company still works.

I did ancestry 23andme and cri and I prefer cri genetics because I have read my known family tree 3 great grandfather’s trees aren’t really known that well may dads moms dads moms side is known but his father is not know. And my moms dads dads family history is unknown and my moms moms dad was a rapist and we don’t know about his tree and what I know from my tree is I have a lot of German ancestry and then Scottish English welsh and Irish and I have French and Cherokee ancestry too my mama told me she had a something great grandmother who walked the trail of tears and my moms aunt told her that they have Native American and my mom has a light tan skin and when she is out in the sun for like 5 minutes she gets dark and she has o+ blood and my mom likes to base her claim on her high cheekbones and I also have high cheekbones But what cri genetics told me lined up with my family tree better than ancestry and 23andme. And when and if I tan it is a reddish brown tan. And I did 23andme and it took so long I got it on July 9th and I got on review on the 26th of July and got my results on august 18th and they told me a bunch of bogus and I did cri genetics and it was flawless when delivering and processing and it told me what was in my family tree but I’m sorry for your experience with cri hope everything will be alright

I ordered my bed back July 10th thinking since I went in store all is well, then something told me recheck my paperwork and to no avail they had keyed the wrong bed so had to go back to the store to have that corrected and of course no delivery date had been established. So here we are today August 25th and still no signs of my bed and was told by customer service the lady was pleasant that it looks like approx late September. Omg this makes furniture shopping so discouraging 😞.

I've been involved with genetic genealogy for years. If you want to test your DNA, you want to test with a company where thousands or millions of people have tested. Your DNA never changes but the science that decodes your DNA keeps getting better. Your DNA is compared to everyone in that companies database. The larger the database, the better the results. The reason you received a high percentage of European ancestry is because they have a small database. It also tells me that not enough people with African heritage have tested with them. That may change in the future. CRI may grow. But hopefully they offer you a way to receive updated results. If a lot more people with African heritage test with them, then your results will change and you will see a higher percentage of African heritage.
