We have one and I’ve just had to strip it down completely to the heat exchanger and put a hosepipe on it. Not a job for the faint hearted! But hopefully it will be like new again and not take forever to dry clothes which has been the case recently. I’ve yet to try it!

Does anyone else feel like this produces a lot of dust in the room it’s used in? Mine is in my bathroom. I clean the lint trap every time I use it but there is always so much dust in the room I believe from this dryer. Is there an additional filter I could add to this?

Anyone experiencing a weird odor in clothes after drying? They no longer smell like detergent, it's a weird metallic smell. I already cleaned both filters thoroughly.

You skipped how you connected the break string, the one thing I'm looking for 😂😂😂

At 1.20 there is no water going through the cell by the look of it. That pump doesn't seem to be working properly either, the water should fill to the top of the clear lid and bubbles should all clear within 1 minute. It's either sucking air somewhere, your pump is stuffed or it has a restriction somewhere. Water should flow quickly through the salt cell and you should see chlorine gassing off the cell plates. If it's been like that for a while there is little wonder that the cell has burnt, without sufficient water flow it will overheat. I'm pretty sure these have protection if there is no flow to prevent your pump running dry with no water, maybe that is why it won't turn on in manual mode?
