I watched this movie 2 years after it came out and from what I understood it didn’t do as good until a quiet a few years after it’s release, and grew a fan base. I assume that’s why they weren’t in a hurry to release a sequel since the fan base didn’t come until almost a decade after. But coming back to this movie again and I never realized how much I actually liked the prawns in this movie lmao imagine having one as a friend almost 💀

I would love to see the aliens return to Earth to wipe out humanity

We need more gore like this in other movies.

The memorable audio of this scene, like the mothership waking up, seems to have been scrambled in this upload. Compare to other uploads. Pity.

My only complaint is I feel the gang leader's death was too humane, it would've been cool if there was some weapon that could melt his skin off while he's alive and shrieking or something like that, a more fitting punishment for that psychopath

Aliens meeting their counterpart of the lowest of the lowest third world country..they will be treated in the same way they were treated on the world they escaped from.. So to them it must be as..another world subjucated by the same overlord they are running away from. Just like with many homeless people...they love their prison and will not want to help those in need. Why has humanity become like this? Because fear of death..survival instinct nurrish the Ego of the point of being as one of the Evil logic spirit.

yes men, keep shooting the power armor that is catching and suspending all your bullets midflight. Ignore the other heavier weapons you possess that have a chance of actually doing damage to it.

Best movie EVER!

This movie was such a bizarre experience. It portrayed a relatively peaceful alien encounter with modern earth in what is arguably the most realistic way it possibly could. I have no doubt we would, after a few years of novelty, end up treating them and behaving exactly like this. Living out life with a mothership hovering overhead like it’s just another piece of the scenery, grouching about the “damn bugs,” and generally continuing to be just as petty and uncaring as we were before we encountered them.

The humans wanted the aliens gone, but when they activate their ship to leave the humans try and stop them.

I wish we could get a sequel to this.
