Metro Authorities better speed up and complete this long pending/ long neglected, choked Namma Blueline subjecting several PAX to untold daily misery. The stretch is just 2Km to Bellandur, 7 Km to Marathalli, 15 Km to Hebbal, may be 20Km to International Airport. Most important tech companies are populated along either side of this arterial line. By neglecting this line you are depriving Billions of U$ worth of Fx earnings. This metro-line has been pending for almost past 14-years, Think of the untold misery of Techies commuting daily to offices along this line.

Distance as claimed by HHAI is 262 kms. This is between Sriperumbudur and Hoskote only AND NOT BETWEEN MADRAS AND BANGALORE per se. The NHAI along with the union ministry of road transport are misleading the public with false figures. This distance subject to road conditions and facilities can be comfortably done in about 3 hrs. Add 60-75 mins for each btwn Madras-Sriperumbudur AND Bangalore-Hoskote. Thus it would take around 5 to 5 and a half hrs to drive from Madras to Bangalore. This is about the same time it takes to cover in the two existing routes. If the claim of NHAI is correct the new express way will not have criss crossing of other roads and no junctions. Also there will be space for slow moving vehicles. It is in this area where a motorists especially 4 wheelers can gain time, though marginal.

Also Bangalore- Hoskote and Madras-Sriperumbudur are highly congested. This distance itself takes 60 to 70 mins each.😊

You got it all wrong. The new express way distance is 262 kms. How can you cover this distance in 2 hrs. Is it an Autobahn ? The distance is reduced by about 80 kms. The non stop travel time through the existing routes takes about 5 to 6 hrs. Now through the new express way it would take about 3 to 4 hrs.

This video could be enhanced by showing the major stops along the way. Closer to Hoskote, how you get off the Ring Road and into other interconnecting freeways such as the one leading back to Hosur, and the one leading towards Coimbatore. How does one navigate these interchanges? Simply showing a car driving down an empty highway, past a toll check point, is a waste of time and money. Th3 audience has better things to do with their time. Pointing out deficiencies such a# lack of drainage, pedestrian crossovers, a lack of pull-over lanes to accommodate breakdowns, roadside repair, lack of public toilets, these are some of the points to be addressed. Perhaps the author can do a revision based on my suggestions?
