Sadly missed and that’s why it’s so great to see his name in a race speed form as was one of his enjoyed passions. I first read about Farrel O Shea in the windsurf and surf pages of the magazines of the 90s-2000 with charging all conditions with his distinctive locks. Happy and positive energy. He’ll be blasting now and I gather he was partial to a cuppa which will be looked forward to one day. Whenever you see the O Shea logo you know everything is going to be alright, Mr Ben Proffitt and Corky Kirkham knew him well and loved him is where I heard about his passing onto the great speed strip in the sky. All the best and Thankyou very much for giving Farrel some speed runs here no worries.

Le problème c'est surtout que cette vidéo est un WTF complet avec des record qui n'en sont pas du tout aha Chez les hommes on est sur plus de 38nds et chez les femmes on est au dessus des 30 ..

@@hugone83 to make a record we need a WSSRC Commissioner, sail in straight line and with Video Timing System... registration is still open... now we are at Official 31.28Kts on 500m... next video soon... next wind from 23 till 29 June.. maybe the speed will higher

Thank you. I think Ale Tomasi could go Over 34.. but till now we had poor and difficult conditions .... and yes some people claimed High speed with a slingshot of 50m..... As in Athletic you need to go fast between the Cameras... and is not always easy. We hope to have great conditions between 22 and 28 June... Zara was slow cause was with a freeride big foil... woman can go master.. I don't think 30kts on the mile but maybe 28-29 in 500.... Man in the perfect day maybe 35 in 500... next year with sail and foil Evolution ... and with an Official Event and Official Wing Division for Record since 2024... It will be much better. And we hope to have also more money to investe for the video....

We had 5 heats for the fin category. Each heat has a ranking based on the average of the 2 best run of each rider. After 4 heats they can discard 1 result, 2 discards with 7 heats. The ranking of the best Speed of the event can be different respect the official ranking of the world championship. In this edition was achieved also some best Speed all time and are mentioned on the video. And the best Portuguese performance ever on 500m. @@speedquestwindsurfing Me too, but now it seems to be all super long lines with a near horizontal front leg!

@@simongodfrey3765 I much prefer the longer lines. Most of the wind I am in is really up and down. It tried very short lines and they are brutal for dead spots and for seat harnesses.
