No this is my 3rd horrible migraine since before Thanksgiving nothing is knocking it out and I also take Qulipta these last 3 have lasted and the one I had back a year ago from 3-4 weeks

I'm lucky. Nurtec kicks in within 5 minutes and I'm back to normal in 30 minutes!

since switching to Nurtec off of triptans I am MUCH happier. I don't get the serious drowsiness I got on triptans, it works wonderfully for me. AND for me it takes about 5 minutes to kick in plus it stays in me for about 24 hours meaning no rebound migraine!

I’m taking Nurtec along with Qulipta they do work but bam another one comes along with just as worse and the nausea is so bad and light sensitivity I’m just know it’s debilitating me to the point all I do is cry

My md asked me to try to use it for my episodic cluster headaches - have you used this for that ? Any idea the peak effect is ? So I can maybe try it - I cycle now at 3:34am daily…

My Neurologist gave me a coupon so that I can afford it; except Ubrelvy has a clause on their coupon that excludes American Military INSURANCE Tri-Care I think that is cheese dick move

This is ridiculous who can afford this medicine is soo expensive. Pharmacy and doctor made soo much money 💰. They know that we are sick and we need this medicine. God help as. The evil world is EVILL only money and money.

I used Aimovig 4 times and I felt better with the first 3 Injections but something was wrong with the 4th one. For the past 12 days, I have been having such a terrible time. I am feeling so much heat in my abdomen and my back. I feel as if I can't even breathe. I was in the emergency room for a day but they could not figure out the cause of my symptoms. I hope that it does not damage my internal organs. I reported my experience to Amgen.

I’ve been on this medication for about a yr and i’ve had 2 migraine attacks first lasting 21 days with 3 er visits and the second currently happening. It’s been 11 days and 2 er visits. Home emergency meds dont touch it and i need IV meds. Seen a new Neurologist and will be starting Qulipta soon.

Is it mandatory the first month to do both injections same time or do I have to wait a certain time to take the second one?

Ok im going to try it in a bit for the 1st time. I think y'all scaring me saying it hurts but i guess im going to find out if so. Must say I can tolerate pain pretty well...........................

I am using ajovy , honestly Im no lobger suffering from migraine, unlike before Im taking painreliever monthly and sometimes painreliever did’nt work anymore. My doctor advice me to use Ajovy and it’s a miracle I dont feel headache anymore.

This is my absolute miracle drug. 25 years with migraines and I was given samples of this - then a prescription. I changed insurance and was denied and lost my mind - but my neurologist sent an expedited appeal which was granted and I am so grateful. It is the ONLY medication that works for me. I have tried EVERYTHING- please, if you’re considering it, DO IT. I am sensitive to all meds and have had terrible reaction to other migraine meds. This gives NO side effects for me. I take it and within one hour the migraine is GONE. And I’m talking about migraine with aura, blurred vision, nausea, intense pain that no matter what will NOT let up, constant crying. Whoever invented this medication should be praised. Thank you for reading my comment 😊

Emgality has helped with my migraines. I admit it stings a little but worth the small amount of discomfort since it last 30 days.

It made me extremely nauseous and nervous, then it only gave me 5 hrs of relief. I tried to take 1/2 a pill in morning and then afternoon! Anxiety and problems went away and worked great splitting it up!!

How about a video devoted strictly to cluster HA. There's a reason they call them suicide headaches.

I've had migraines for 45 years nothing worked. My Dr started me on nurtec it's amazing! I feel like it's a miracle and I could hug my Dr for finding this! I had nausea from it but I had ginger tea and it's gone!

Very Helpful! Thanks this is my second month of using Aimovig. The first month was fine but this month, I experienced Constipation, Severe Back Pain, and vomiting a couple of times. I don't know if this is the side effect of Aimovig. I do get back pain otherwise also but not so severe that I had to vomit a couple of times. Do we have some Aimovig type of Injection for Back Pain also? I would love to try that one. Thanks

Chronic migraine sufferer. It didnt work for me

The prefilled syringe is better for me because it gives me control, but it’s hard to do that initial jab.

I started getting migraines in my 50's. My migraines would give signs of coming on by starting at the base of my neck and wrapping around to my left side above my ear and into my left eye. The pain would grow greater and cause vomiting and severe pain. I was given a sample pack of Nurtec to try and the results were amazing. Within 20 minutes of taking it, the pain was greatly reduced and within 30 minutes to an hour the pain was gone completely. Now, whenever I feel the migraine coming on. (which feels much different to me than a "normal" headache) I can prevent it from happening completely with one tablet of Nurtec. Nurtec is a game changer for me. I highly recommend trying it.

Over 10 years I've had to injection now the auto injector really f**king hurts but end of day is rather suffer pain in legs for a few minutes than have a nasty period of migraines
