A lovely tour of Castledykes on a beautiful, sunny day. Takes me back to July/August 1973, when I loved coming here with my girlfriend. We would just sit on top of Paradise Hill in the sunshine, chat and take in the beauty of the sight over the Sunken Garden with its beautiful flowers. A really special,unforgettable experience! Thanks for taking the time to record and post this.

Did they name it after Kenny, the local beekeeper?

Do you know what the alarm was for? There is a siren just around the corner there at the Tranmere oil terminal but it doesn’t sound like that. I don’t see why you would have triggered it! Probably a test of the siren.

We camped as kids on that clearing at the top of the waterfall - we would swim till dusk and again at sun up in the pool - that was like 50 years ago when the wood was less manicured

Hill at 16.45 is the remains of a spoil heap that we used to call the brittle hill that had a pond beside it called the brittle pit where we caught newts

Very interesting walk the very last part of the film has changed a great deal there where railway sidings, an extremely large ww2 military base tank traps, and another short cut walk to A55 which has been closed
