Learn CW with BARS
BARS is offering you the FREE opportunity to learn CW (Morse Code).
Classes are being held at the BARS Headquarters/Red Cross Building at 1450 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY - on Saturdays from 11:00AM - 11:45AM.
There will be no class or Shack time on January 25, 2025 due to Winter Field Day. Come out and visit us at the Kentucky Horse Park January 25-26, 2025 in the Primitive Camping Area - Try out the various Amateur Radio bands and modes - NO LICENSE REQUIRED as we will have operators ready to help you learn!

We've all talked about the strange APRS chirp we were hearing on the 760 repeater the past few weeks and we now know where it was coming from. Nice to see cw continuing to be taught and used. Since they dropped mandatory code for licensing, I think it has helped expand the hobby, while letting Elmers help those who want to learn it.
