Dear Edwina Adombire, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out and introduce myself, though I must admit, I doubt this will work. That said, I have a clean record, live a clean and disciplined lifestyle, and consider myself a well-mannered and well-rounded individual. I’ve had the privilege of traveling to 12 countries and learning 5 languages, which has given me a broad perspective and deep appreciation for different cultures. I’m currently saving to move to either Asia or Africa, as I deeply admire the strong family values and sense of community found in these cultures. I’d love the opportunity to connect with you and share more about my travels and journey. Perhaps we share a similar mindset, as I believe African and Asian cultures emphasize the importance of family-something I think you would agree with. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards, HL P.S. I might not leave this note up for a long time-I’m a pretty shy and private guy. I just happened to see your video and figured maybe this is a calling. Sometimes doing things on your own really sucks. Places I’ve Been: Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Ghana. What part of Canada are you in? I’m also Canadian. Update: Looking through your videos, I see your thoughts and your disappointment with the country. I wholeheartedly believe this was meant to happen, and we’re meant to talk. If we connect, I’d love to share my lifestyle, upbringing, and goals with you-you might be shocked at what you hear. I also believe a grace of God in it. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards, HL
You are a real helper of your husband as the Bible tells us. You are a concerned wife who wants to do any kind of job in Canada so you can put food on the table for your family.

Been in Canada for 2 years and more and this lady speaks no lie, ofcourse there are exceptions to what she is saying. But the majority experience what she is explaining, work here is not easy! The first time I did 12hrs shift, my feet hurt so so bad😂😂....thanks for the video
@@witty448 Exactly a few people are able to land their ideal job from the beginning but the majority starts from survival jobs and later transition if they get the required certifications. My husband’s first job, he stopped after 3 days 😃 I still tease him. It’s not for the faint hearted Dear. May God see us through 🙏🏽
@@EdwinaAdombire amen!
Thanks for the info
This is an eye-opener. Thanks
Even if I have over $100B I will still leave Nigeria for UK or Canada … Cause I know what have suffered here and I know lots of my cousins who are comfortable finically in Canada and UK.. And NOTE…if you earn in dollars please calculate in dollars…and if you are earning in Naira please calculate in Naira…. And again…dollar is 1,700/$… so 1,500$ is 2.5m Naira …and no body earns up to 100k monthly here in Nigeria..except you are working in a high ranking position in the government house … So please stop saying things that are not right … 4 of My friend are currently in Canada and they are doing two jobs they own a house of their own on mortgage …they are paying the mortgage with the rent from the basement… So they stand nothing to lose ..and they are 100% happy that the best decision of their life is leaving Nigeria …. They only look at this things from people who leave nigeria with an incomplete pof…and they think it’s all rosy… Get a complete P.O.F…..seak for work permits…get to Canada , do two jobs and save your salaries while you spend your P.O.F and see the amount of money you’ve saved … Or do you think that the Canadian government that puts the law of having over $13k as P.O.F before traveling are foolish? They know you will rent an apartment, eat good food, transport to work before you get paid your salary … From the very first day I noticed that our family is not up to 10 here in Nigeria, that’s when I knew that traveling is the real deal… Do you think that if it’s not favorable to them they will remain there ? Or if it’s not favorable to you will you remain there ? Y’all should listen ..travel abroad with the legal way..get all the necessary documents, most especially get a complete P.O.F in all sense make sure you have good money and good plans before traveling
how about safety, health care back home?
@@Truth_818 I mentioned there is quality health care home but mostly not affordable to the average person. Unlike a place like Canada that has more like free quality healthcare for all.
@@EdwinaAdombire Back home, can you call an ambulance at the midnight and they will come your home within few minutes, can you call fire service and they respond immediately, how safe is your life and properties back home. Please always give people genuine info, most of your videos about Canada are always negative, and you're still living in Canada. Come on
@@Truth_818 I don’t know where your home is and how bad it is. My home is not that bad yes it can be better just as things in Canada ain’t 100% For safety this is where people are being shot for nothing. I am unbiased and objective and that is what people like you can’t stand. What ever made you feel so bitter about your home must have been huge. I pray you get over it. I am a Ghanaian who loves Ghana and have Ghana at heart and that will not change no matter where I find myself. It’s rather unfortunate that irritates you!
@@EdwinaAdombire I have a lot of Ghanaian friends and they're being honest with me, things are very bad in Ghana right now, why many are seeking asylum here in Canada. One good thing I like about Ghanaians is that they don't talk about their bad system online otherwise it's all about suffering and smiling. Like I always say, Canada gave you a good life, speak good about Canada. Thanks
Love your perspective @@EdwinaAdombire

I agree with you sis Focus on documentation before any other things
Yes! You are absolutely right!
The WHY is always the same! A better life, money. I think, it is a shame not to do a proper research BEFORE migrating. You should know your destination incl. Language and culture, the legal requirements, the labor market, housing market and living cost...and what do you have to offer. Unskilled, poor, old and sick people are not welcome globally. Apply successfully from your home country and your employer will support your migration. You should be able to support yourself without income for 1 year abroad. Unemployment rates are high. Recruiting processes takes 4 to 6 months in the corporate world. Tell your family that they won't get financial support for the initial 3 years. Life abroad is too expensive and most probably you will have to invest in yourself to get a foothold firstly. Be honest to yourself...are competitive compared to locals, is your education wanted and does it meet the high standards of the host country, do you have accepted diplomas to prove your qualification...etc? Be prepared to be limited to low paid donkey jobs only for a couple of years. Research before thinking of founding your own business abroad. Is there any demand for your business at all, will it be profitable, how much start up money is required (a lot!), high taxes and consider the legal requirements. It might take months to be registered and get a permission with a lots of preconditions ( in particular if you drea, of a business with food involved). In general, Nigerians do not get asylum. Be also prepared to be not respected since most immigration countries do not want to accept any economic refugees (import of poverty, crime & problems) anymore nowadays if you do not have a qualification looked for (e.g. nurses, doctors, elderly care givers, engjbeers, cybersecurity experts)...hate is rising...also among migrants of different origin. The old migrants refuse new ones... Right wing politics and nationalism is skyrocketing everywhere. This means that people want to get rid of migrants and do not want to sponsor any support, public and social services anymore. In Asia, this trend is not so much relevant since you have to pay for everything privately anyway. In my view, it is often the better option to invest your money at home. The post industrial countries are saturayed. Nobody needs you. And less developed countries provide much more opportunities for their citizens. If you cannot make it at home, you won't be successful in the fierce competition on unknown territory that rejects you abroad.
That's my condition now been in Dubai for 2yrs 8months no work no money even to buy ticket and go back home is problem for me.
It is a tough situation Dear, so sorry you find yourself in such a situation. I pray God makes a way. sending you hugs
