What is the real reason that the Curry County BOC killed the Curry County Voices (CCV) permit for cable channel 182? Is it just because they televised community meetings that the BOC (and/or other political entities in the County) did not like? The transcript of the BOC meeting during which the BOC voted to revoke the permit suggested that the decision was more of an emotional reaction on the part of the BOC rather than a carefully considered action, since no reason was given for the revocation and the CCV representative was run out of the meeting while speaking about the decision. Is such a reactionary method of operation in best interest of the County residents?
