I have heard HORROR stories from my friends this year. One of them has tried to move in twice; the first time, her bathroom was mouldy and she hated the bedroom. She went home and tried to move into a different building 1 week later, but she was told that the building wasn't open yet, and hundreds of students had to delay their move-in. She has missed over a week of actual uni and is yet to move in. She also missed the freshers fairs and first week campus events 😭😭 I'm glad you made it there safe in the end, and good luck for second year you are gonna do great!!

I paid £4 for a wash and it didn’t even start even tho the app said it was washing. I had to pay again because it stole my money. I had enough of the dryers and just started hanging stuff up in my room

What recommendations do you have for touchscreen laptop's for uni?

You don't need a tablet to take notes. Pen and paper and ring binders are quite adequate.

Here from 2024, yes the grade boundaries are still a joke and I ended up crying. Still got into my firm miraculously but grades were significantly lower.
